I think they are still SUPER far from any sort of dominant position. But due to the relative low cost to make BMW, (despite it’s great production valves) it may be possible funds may pour into the Chinese game development sector. But still it’s ways off at the moment.
Anyway i doubt the Chinese will see this as power projection, more cultural projection and influence probably

Tencent is actually both better and worse than ubisoft at the same time.
Worst in the sense Tencent games is almost entirely about monetisation. Better is the sense tencent has funded and published many solid animation titles rivalling even on occasion exceeding Japanese anime

yeah i agree with you. some people get a fresh coat of paint for their, it doesn't make the car run faster or perform better, but definitely more pleasing to the eyes. they are excited n happy... i say good for them :)
i only got 1 ps2s. i bought multiple ps1s, multiple dreamcast and multiple snes. so certainly not the case for me
