Oh really? In that case I request MS show us the sales of COD on XBOX this year compared to the last 3 years.
Almost all Mainstream media are agenda driven nowadays.
Crazy that even gaming is not immune.
Is there a point for press freedom for it to only serve a different master?
In that case….. isn’t ubisoft, MS etc also furthering their monopoly by laying off staff? (They are not)
Why is this only the case for sony and no one else?
Make it make sense!
I am sure some of them understands… not that they’ll ever admit it
@dveio
Salary in China is certainly not as high as in the West, but it is generally higher than countries like Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia etc. Also depending on job category sometimes pay can be comparable to Japan and South Korea, also pay for skilled jobs in mainland seven often comparable and even exceeds Taiwan.
Coupled with relatively affordable cost of living, and moderate inflation, the Chinese are paid quite well all things considered
Quantity definitely doesn’t mean quality. But there will be at least several solid games already show cased
exoborne
mecha break
phantom blade zero
Where winds meet
I’m sure there are a bunch more that are promising. We’ll see
True, especially if you consider the cost vs production quality of BMW. USD$70m for BMW is an absolute steal vs unknown 9 USD$100-200m vs concord USD$200m
Chinese censorship is a factor, isn’t that big of a deal.
1) if they can make movies, they can make the games.
2) making the game in china and publishing it are two different things. There are many examples of movies made in china, but released overseas.
Also I won’t say there is no DEI in china, there is, it’s just that i doubt the government there will like it get do out of hand like how it is in the west.
(DEI in itself isn’...
Not saying there isn’t any support for this sort of content. But i am guessing there are people out there who had no idea this sort of thing was in it. They could have thought: “ dragon age, i played inquisition it was kick ass, this looks pretty good too, let me get that….”
And to be fair the combat does look kinda fun.
While i am opposed to the indoctrination of extremist woke agendas, inclusivity to a certain extent isn’t all that bad. Only problem is where do we draw t...
Well i would call it one single game.
It’s more like 3 games but all titled COD,
I don’t know about Neon… but if you spent upwards of 5 years spending hundreds of millions making something like CONCORD!!! Bet your ass you deserved to be fired.
My only question is why it took do long
This isn’t surprising at all…..
In unrelated news… scientists discover that water is wet
For MS it probably is lol
Actually Tango Gameworks has been resurrected and acquired by Crafton (the PUBG developer). So they are still around,
However the Ghostwire IP is with MS, while Hifi rush is now with Crafton
Thanks 😀. I will try to get that too
You epic store for PC?
I would say This is a pretty good month 😃
Always wanted to try ghost wire.
Death note looks interesting
Don’t care for hot wheels though
It depends on what was released where right?
Only new game Capcom released on consoles this year is dragons dogma… on the other hand capcom may have released more on PC.
I don’t have the information, but we need to look at context is what i am saying.
It’s weird. How did Concord an arena shooter cost $200m, while Wukong only around $70m.
Maybe developers need to manage their cost better.
That’s one of of looking at it…
The other would be to compare with another recent release…. Wukong
1) got hammered by mainstream games media, as opposed to dragon age being praised
2) being a completely new IP as opposed to well established dragon age
Wukong reached 2.5M concurrent players… even if we removed the Chinese market which is about 80%… let’s call it 90%, there are still around 250k concurrent players at peak.
