I don’t think it’s a good idea to release on the xbox.
But as a thought experiment, it is possible sony is calculating that at this point of time, Sony gamers are not going to switch consoles due to most gamers already amassed a sizeable digital library. So releasing sony games elsewhere does nothing for existing ps gamers, meaning they might believe they gain the xbox gamer market while not eroding the sony base.

Also by this definition if you go solely by game sales… there may be a good chance that xbox isn’t dominating on xbox since GP probably cannibalize most of their 1st party game sales
