I actually thought it was a good story, and good open world game. Some times it did feel a bit empty, but I enjoyed what 343i tried to do.
I’m not surprised. I eyeballed the first 5 minutes of game play and wasn’t thrilled. The game engine reminds me too much of Watch dogs, and man what a disappointment that was.
It’s Metroid, hands down. Way back when castlevania was just a linear sides scroller where you go from point a to point b. Metroid on the other hand was about exploration, trail and error, and having the right power ups to progress through the game. Metroid formula was adopted by Castlevania with Simons Quest, and a few others. They are both great franchises, but Metroid, for me, has this one.
Wow, it has been ten years. I do want to revisit this. I really enjoyed the attention to detail. As soon as I started out I drove on the wrong side of the road, and the story, from what I recall was good too. I’d like to see a remaster or remake of this.

I agree! It’s too much emotional attachment to these systems. To the point where it’s childish. Like fans are really upset that there is value in something they have no plans trying.
Well from a business stand point they better. Because the holiday season is the largest spending season of the year.

No, but I do know a lot of people that do, and judge them for it. If that’s how they parent more power to them. Different house holds have different sciences. Me, I use it as a creative tool, but I like how you tried me though.
Hey if that works for you and your family do it. In my house hold we are much more strict with things. So when I have the time for my kids to be kids I let them.
He may see it as a world wide leader, however their goal right now is to get the service available across all devices, and platforms, so their mission is a bit different than what we come accustomed to seeing in this industry. It’s amazing to see that I can play some of my favorite games on a tablet or cell phone for one price is a nice first step. We will see how this goes as ideas technology, and market shifts occur.
That’s cool that they are moving toward their goal. I for one would like to say. Thank you for keeping my kids happy and entertained, as specially in the car where 45 minute trips “seems like forever” mixed in with a Barrage of “are we there yet?” have been pacified by cloud gaming.
