Gamingsinceforever to answer your question, no we know Sony isn’t the only one, however the others aren’t as vocal as Sony who is a direct competitor , not to mention the leading competitor. The point of this is for Sony, to provide proof to back up their claims that console prices will raise, consumers will truly be negatively effected, and also prove that Sony will be unable to compete. As specially, When MS guaranteed that COD would not be exclusive to Xbox, and even offered a ten year de...
Exactly, Sony has a lot to say in this matter, and they’re one of the thorns in the side of MS with this purchase. by Subpoena they are pushing Sony to provide documentation. it’s like a put up or shut up kill two Birds with one stone kind of thing.
Gamingsinceforever it doesn’t matter. A subpoena is a legal written document ordering an individual/company to either attend a court hearing or produce documentation in advance of that hearing. Microsoft wants Sony to prove what they are saying as evidence against the FTC. Since Sony has a lot to say on the matter and feel they will be effected prove it. If they can’t MS will eliminate Sony’s claims and push on to close
The title is nothing more but click bait, and to cause emotional reactions. Orchard you are correct, this is a smart move by Microsoft because it forces Sony to come to court and prove their statements. The title makes it seem like MS is asking for Sony’s help. When it’s really a request to come to court and prove your statements.
Asking someone to prove what they say is now a sense of desperation? Sony made a few statements one of them being “ MS buying Activision Blizzard will allow MS to raise console prices” and “ the acquisition will also hurt customers, competitors, and Independent sectors” This has to be proven with adequate evidence. Just because someone says these things doesn’t make it true. That’s what this subpoena is for. Come to court and prove your stance with strong evidence. For example, I told a lo...
The only issue I had with Halo was the after launch issues. The single campaign was good. The story, the enemies, the environment were good. The open world concept was integrated well. I do think however, there were spots that were bland and lifeless, but it’s typical for a lot of these open world games.
@EvertonFC provide the evidence of it.
All the big tech companies are "trimming the fat"
MrDead, that’s simply not true. Microsoft has done the opposite. For example, Rare was acquired and have since released new IPs as well as revived older ones, and Rare wasn’t shut down. Next, why would a company ‘s main focus be on products that don’t maximize profits? All businesses “trim the fat” of their acquisitions for cost effective measures. fact remains this is nothing new this is the nature of business, big bank take little bank. And please provide proof that Microsoft is monopoliz...
I’d like to see what ID software could do with the Halo universe. We can all agree it’s vast. ID doesn’t necessarily have to continue the story of master chief. It would be cool if they did spin offs or maybe tackle the campaign of Fumirole.
I want to see the evidence these ten gamers present.
@curtain_swoosh once again you taking my words with emotional value. “Chill out” lol. Yes I am this way in real life because I’m trying to understand your point of view through factual thought. “ you can feel” however you want to feel. My way is not destructive to those who understand how to separate their emotions from fact. You enjoy your day
@curtain_swoosh I’m not saying you blamed him I said majority. Also if your thoughts aren’t emotional then don’t start your rebuttal with “ I feel” feeling is an emotional trait based off feelings. Feelings are what? Perception based. It’s like your girl coming to you saying “ well I don’t feel like you spend enough time with me” that’s emotional, that’s not fact. Six people disagreed with facts I stated in my comment which means they are thinking emotionally. Truth is, we don’t know Phil, w...
@curtain_swoosh “ I feel” is a blind emotional irrational way of thought. Ask yourself, do you truly know this man? Do you know his true to life thought process, his work ethic, his work restraints, who he answers to? The majority in this particular topic is based around emotional bias inexperience hypocritical speech. People are using the 10,000 employee lay off as a means to attack Phil when he has nothing to do with it. Like Phil own Microsoft. It’s comical. Why don’t we also blame Phil...
The thing is none of those judging him work along side him to know his work ethic, or his personal views. It’s just based off your bias perception of the company he works for. you don’t know his restraints or what true say he has with in the company. Half the people commenting wouldn’t last a month in his shoes
Or maybe his views aren’t the same as Microsoft’s views. You know, you ever worked for a company where your views didn’t match management's views. You can express your views all you want, but at the end of the day who cuts the check?
And what does that have to do with what Phil said? Let’s stay in topic.
This is one of the few games where I felt an emotional connect with characters.
It’s a good game, just know it’s slow at first, and I think the game needs to be that way because of all the characters you meet just be mindful of the relationships you build
I have this on The Meta, it’s a great game and was actually the ice breaker for me to give VR a try
