Man, after reading what you wrote. It makes it sound like MS is forcing me to stay with Ultimate… like it’s 30 dollars or nothing, like there isn’t a 9.99 a month, or a 14.99 a month options. Man, shame on MS for only having one tier and forcing me to pay 30.00 a month. I mean really, did you read the article before you commented? Treat that question as rhetorical.
I agree, there have been some cool concepts and games I’ve played. Starwars edge of galaxy, resident evil 4, Aliens. Batman. Even the Pro Football which is my fav to be honest have been cool, but killer? Naw, not as of yet. I still play these games in small dosages, and sometimes find myself overwhelmed with certain games.
Started playing a few hours when it dropped. It’s not perfect, and sometimes the game can be a bit cumbersome when trying to load out and pull your weapon. The suspense is there, the graphics are do able, the alien ai shines. Yes, you will die a lot

Cry me a river. This came off as someone who simply grew out of being a gamer. It went from too many games to play for the price, to I have kids now, I simply don’t put in enough time, and I lost my excitement for day one games. I get it, but don’t. When a dog shows no slow down after the fifth bullet to the body it can be frustrating. However, it’s lame in the sense of challenge. As soon as I saw the death counter I knew I was in for a long days work.
After all that, (what was written) it’s still confined to VR, and the creators felt its art’s best representation was through VR and I don’t blame them. This can offer the best immersion, which we can agree, is needed in any Alien game. The creator(s) wanted to offer the best experience and felt it was best done in VR. Either invest in one or miss out on what could potentially be the best alien game made

They’re dead in the sense of console, and hardware production. When a company can simply offer their products on any device, any where, at any time as a service I.e an app which is offered on meta, apple, android, smart tvs etc. why would a customer spend hundreds to a thousand on the console? I thought the game needed to be simplified. Too many. Useless items that can be picked up. Too many weapons to toggle with etc. make it a little more action oriented Lot of it was too slow for me.
Damn all that, can we please finish the story?! It leaves you on a cliffhanger and never finishes the story.

“Pay the piper” that’s a little dramatic. It’s a 4 dollar price hike. The ones that are All of a sudden, outraged weren’t getting game pass anyway, but rage on I guess.
Maybe it will, maybe it won’t. However there aren’t too many open world games that meet the standard of it, so maybe it doesn’t have to reinvent gaming
