The sad part is.. the game wasn’t really that bad. It had a lot of potential. I hated the fact that CD Projekt didn’t deliver on its promises.
I agree, Quantum break’s story was stellar. The tv show wasn’t as bad as they say. Plus the ending left it open for another
Man, look how how far Alan Wake came. It went from being hated on for being an exclusive to a sleeper hit, to now being one of the most anticipated games to come out. I hope they keep the same formula of the first with Twilight zone-ish content you find to flush out the story more.

I actually enjoyed the concept of it being open world. However, a lot of it felt cookie cutter, and sometimes empty. I would like to see how this will be improved in the near future

Nope, I am not. You have the most up to date version. I haven’t picked the game up in a year plus, and the city was empty, lifeless. I don’t know how it is now though.

I am in the same boat. It’s a beautiful game, but I just don’t see what it does better than the other open world games you stated. It’s balancing and pacing for me is what it lacks for me to put it in the “best” category. it seems as though fromsoft focus was to just make it as hard as possible, because thats their M.O. I honestly stopped playing it after 6 hours, and went on to something else.

Listen, man!!!! I need them to go back to the original. The attention to detail was amazing, the story line was decent enough to keep me entertained, and the missions were also fun. My favorite one would be riding around snatching all the pimp’s hoes. The street gang Element based missions were good along with the bounty hunter missions can we go back to the old days?
But that’s the thing, I’m not asking for an easy mode. I’m asking for Adaptive mode. It worked well for Infamous.
I didn’t ask for an easy mode I asked for adaptive mode. The game adapts as you play and learn. I never play my games on easy. It’s always normal mode
I’m getting it, but I hope they can add an adaptive difficulty setting instead of making it just plan Jane difficult. Between two jobs, kids, and a wife I don’t have the time to spend like I used to .

Oh lord I agree. I played 15 minutes of dark alliance and Brother, I tried to like it I really did. I knew the game was going to be bad when they mapped the attack button as the right shoulder button.
My kids love and will play mind craft dungeon all day!
