Demo was alright, this review seems a little high - hoping to pick this up around the holiday for a 40 dollar deal.

Naturally, there will be developers whom push these types of games on the PS3. However, unlike the wii, I think we will not see such a high volume.
It is too late to add blu ray now - next system should have it depending on release and whats available.
What i dont understand is this - MS was supporting HD-DVD, but why wasnt the main drive able to read them? - They had an add on drive - Atleast if the main drive could handle HD-DVD, they could use this for games currently and we wouldnt have to have games spread over multiple discs.

I highly doubt Nintendo will come out first. I really think MS will be first again. Despite their issues the past 18 months, MS has become a player in the gaming arena. MS needs a fresh approach.
I would assume the new XBOX to be 2012, have major 3-D capabilities, power in excess of the PS3, wifi, blu ray (they have to - DD is not ready yet), kinect built in, large hard drive, with a price around 400. Tech should now be available that is more powerful then the PS3, but ...
MS does need BD - they are wrong to say this, but like many other things listed, they change their mind.
Dont need HDMI - systems now have an HDMI port
Dont need buit in Wifi - systems now have it available
3-D is not necessary - MS has now stated 360 can do 3-D and will next year
I think we are at least 3 years or so from DD - so if the next Xbox comes out before then, it will have to be BD - DVD wont cut it.

The sound and details of these games appear a little better then what is coming out this year. But no screens, video, or footage of people playing and we really can't determine at this time.
Its a step in a better direction, but we need to see it in action before we can determine.
Love the Crapdown 2 name - but I have to say Metro and Alan Wake were decent, not blockbusters, but they were overall pretty good - however, sales sucked.
SMB2 was the best - highly underrated in the Mario series.
Total Disagree - I enjoyed the 2K games more then Madden. Most people generally thought they were better, this is why I believe EA struck a deal to get exclusive rights to teams, players, etc.

Being loyal to a particular brand and supporting everything they do is f*cking stupid. Nintendo, Sony, MS don't give 2 f*cks about fanboys. Sure they want your money, but thats it. Great read - this is exactly how I feel. The first half of the 360 was outstanding. Great exclusives and they stole many Playstation exclusives. The past 18 months or so, nothing major. Sony weathered the storm and now the massive first party support they have is starting to show its muscles. On top of that, Sony has even stolen some MS exclusives (Mass Effect) and are starting to get exclusive DLC.

Wii does have some great games for the hardcore audience. Problem is games like Mad World do not sell on the Wii. Additionally, Wii suffers from poor online gaming and is viewed as an inferior product to the hardcore due to the lack of power.
What sad is this was suppose to be a Wii exclusive. Now its coming to the PS3 and 360, HD graphics with online - sad for only Wii owners.
