Bloody hope so!
Not really, because it would mean if you bought a powerful CPU/GPU-Card you would get the extra benefit of performance, and perhaps 4k resolution.
Nobody knows what framerate, resolution of those games are yet!
If the game makers pay for it, you still end up paying for it...
Nothing in the world is free.
Everything has some cost tied to it, either upfront, or as part of a separate package.
You can go on games on PC and not pay for a server, however clans/groups etc pay either one of the people do, or the group does.
Severs aren't free, the other option is to put the cost on each game, which is what Sony used to do.
Truth is this, somewhere YOU the consumer pays for the severs, and it isn't about being greedy it's the fact it co...
All networks can go down if they are DDOS attacked, due to the nature of Xbox Live and PSN they are more easily taken down, because some part of it has to be open for their consumers to utilize it.
The only thing MS and Sony can do is make it so it quickly resets all the ports 'flooding' and bring everything back to normal quicker.
I think you will find anything you buy in the store is a PoS....
Games which are d/l only, I bet they make money on each SKU they well.
Shipped or sold directly to consumers makes no difference.
Retailers will not buy units unless there was demand for it, so it must mean the Xbox one is being successful.
@Nodoze He analyzes the best stock options for investors, but frankly you don't have to be good at it aslong as you get some successes.
I have both consoles, and a decent gaming PC although I know not everyone can afford all three platforms, I would advise anyone who is serious about gaming to get all three platforms.
@amiga-man
Both companies have helped developers reach higher framerates and resolutions...
So please stop the fanboy bs.
Using the same specs as a the PS4 for a game won't give you any indication of what the game will run like on the the PS4.
You have two separate memory pools for one, you have a cut down OS, you have dedicated GPU/CPU for gaming, however PC's CPU's/GPU's are often more powerful than. But please consoles aren't PC's they have similarities but aren't the same.
Consoles have a cut down OS, a certain amount of memory that you can utiliz...
10% boast has enabled games like Diablo 3, Destiny to do 1080p...
Cloud, is very debatable, however FM5's Drivatar is impressive to see, the servers that are used for TF, are good low pinged and very stable.
So yes I would say MS have delivered on those things.
Blinx would be an interesting one, I played a demo of the first one on the Original Xbox although it wasn't all that good (My opinion) it had potential.
Another game I would like to see is Grabbed by the Ghoulies although a lot of people hated it.
That was a game that had so much potential, so I also would hope they bring that IP back again.
A new Banjo, Conker, Mech Warrior, and Yager would be nice.
No cloud is the technical term that Network engineers use, to differentiate between closed networks, and the outside world.
@Pricey Cloud means anything off a closed network.
Cisco, IBM, etc all refer to it as the cloud.
It's called an opinion, people may or may not agree with it..
The Xbox One is very very software orientated, so everything can be updated.
