If you can see a difference, it's not 'the exact same product'.
According to this thread:

Tales of vesperia sold 70k on first day in Japan.
The article also mentions sell outs of WKC which will affect numbers. I don't think sales can be reasonably judged at this early stage, for this particular game.
It's entirely possible it could be a PS3 timed exclusive. How would that hurt overall sales? Would 360 owners be so upset, they boycott the franchise? That's just as ridiculous as PS3 owners upset with FFXIII going to the 360. People buy games for their system(s) of choice. It may shift sales, but likely an insignificant amount. If Bioshock had been released on both consoles simultaneously, it's possible some dual console owners who bought the 360 version may have opted for the PS3 versi...
They have red light districts and hash bars. Although, those sugar cookies would look pretty good after a trip to the hash bar...mmmm cookies.
Any cost to you for the repairs Fig?
Perhaps she meant identifiable by content, as can be done with HBO original programming.
You're right on the money Jac.
I loved MGS2 and remember how some of my friends didn't like playing as Raiden, whom they considered a girlie-man (even though the gameplay was very 'Snake-like'). Now, these same people are eating crow, and talking about how bad-assed Raiden was in MGS4, especially taking out the Gecko.
And for those comic book fans out there, his assertion 'Batman never grows old', totally discounts one of the best Batman stories ever, Frank Mi...
Yeah, it's hard to dispute MGS4 as GOTY.
Just make with the trophy patch already, Hideo. I've been holding out on a second playthrough (and 3rd, and 4th, etc.) of MGS4, hoping for trophies, but my resolve is waning. Maybe the MGS4 LBP packs will give me the short term fix I so desperately need.
@emitsomia
Why don't you tell us what data is sent to the graphics card on a 360, how much processing takes place there, then explain why pre-processing can't be used by the cell before the data is sent to the video card, to create similar or better results. In other words, maybe you could back up your so called 'facts' with facts...er, data.
And I hope MS does. Then I hope Sony one ups MS. Then let the cycle repeat. This level of competetion can only benefit us as gamers.
The sad part is you probably believe the tired, worn, stupid, false rhetoric you spout.
An XBox360 website has been claiming graphical superiority for the PS3 in the upcoming year for two years now? Try looking at the link and reading the article. Here's some outshining for you, directly from the article: 'MGS4 is still the pinnacle of console graphics.'
I guess 'xboxoz360gamer.com' is a Sony fanboy site.
'Gears of War 2 is the best looking console game released TO DATE PERIOD.'
Well that's just your opinion, and an examination of your posts clearly shows your mindless bias. However, a website that supports the XBox360 has the following to say:
'It is the subtle things that elevated Kojima’s masterpiece above the 360’s offerings. From the dust that licked the camera to the fluid movements of Old Snake’s ever increasingly frail body, MGS4 is still the pinnacle of ...
Gun_Senshi and Diugu:
You guys couldn't be more wrong or sound less prejudicial. That fact that Jenzo never heard of this site has nothing to do with him being American. The internet is global and there are plenty of websites each of us has never heard of.
Secondly, look at his profile. He's European.
Utterly foolish.
I'm still pissed I lost all of my kills in the R2 beta.
'But the single-player game sets up an expectation of how multiplayer works, and you can see how fans are upset when they don’t get a similar experience.'
So he's basically saying people believe or expect if they play as a human then they're going to have a regenerating health advantage over a player playing as a Locust in a multiplayer match? Yeah, that would make for a great gaming experience. His position on the combat system is not only poorly founded, it's even more poor...
'Despite everything, the PS3 has still been worth owning; hopefully it'll continue to improve.'
You've got to love this. Not only does it give him an out if/when the PS3 meets the 'media's expectations', in order to preserve whatever credibility he may possess, when translated from fanboy speak it's quite interesting as well. Allow me. 'I am NOT a hater and definitely NOT a fanboy.'
Classic fanboy denial.
Agentace I've read about some disc read errors but never experienced it myself. To bring up a failure that was nowhere near as widespread as RRoD is just a juvenile attempt at deflection. When the next 'MS knew and ignored the problem' article comes out, I'm sure we'll hear that Sony did too.
As far as Sony telling people to take a hike, that's inconsistent with my experience. My nephew had a launch PS2 which got cooked around two years later due to being stuffed in an enter...
Tell us all where you can get 'The Dark Knight' on DVD of $5.00 - $10.00....please.
And paying $20.00 + for a disc you watch once is still less expensive than going to the movies 'in these economic times'...unless you have no one to go with you.
'a lot of th ePS3 sales come from Video aficiatos that use it just for that, hence the software sales.'
Or maybe they rent games.....without proof this is just fanboy speculation aimed at being a thorn in t...
@ Dawale
Exactly. If you factor in inflation, I wonder how much that would be in today's dollars.
