Lol. OMG. People just don't know how to read anymore before typing.
@ Oz
"Better than real life because it has more polygons"
Are you serious? Some people just plug in and no longer have any concept of reality. Sad.
@ Walther
That XboxOZ guy started the thread with a whole long explanation because of people like you.
It may be an Xbox site, but even in their bios they say they have other consoles. I know Aussie mag writers for Xbox or PS3 mags also play and own other consoles too, even if they focus on one.
Fanboys = insecure idiots. Just be happy with your console and let anyone else be happy with theirs.
In my case I'm lucky as I have all of them! (...
I think that's a bit much. Just because she's pretty and was thrust forward by Ubisoft a bit obvioulsy doesn't mean she didn't explain the game well or have the talent to be a producer. We don't go judging male producers like that...
How about those that are attention whores who like the word "badass" or those producters who think their MGS game is a serious drama opus!
@ Super:
The Illuminati were in Angels and Demons....the Da Vinci Code had the Cathars, the Priory of Scion, and the Opus Dei....
Still point taken...conspiracy and secret societies is where we're at!
Dodging anti-aircraft crossbows!
Yeah!!!
Lol. Let's hope it isn't as boring as Da Vinci Code was. Angels and Demons was a WAYYYYYYY better book.
I love how Assassin's Creed is revisiting and recreating historical periods full of conflict and mystery. I didn't like the repetitive nature of the missions in AC1 but I loved the look and style of the game and the sheer explorations and vertical/horizontal choices in exploration of the first.
Hardcore gamers who whinged about it being too easy can go jump. It needs more gameplay variety but it was a really amazing achievement in gaming imo.
Looks like a lot of fun...for awhile...
I think I'd love it for a few minutes and then get tired of it.
I guess Fracture had the gimmick of moving the ground around but the game seemed dull as. Good that this one might avoid that! And Mechs really do rule in these games!!!
I think one of the first PS2 titles I got was Red Faction! Loved it. The second wasn't as good though.
Explosions are good if you get to explode neato things. Bad Company had great destructibility but the houses all looked the same outside and in.
Elven6 is right. They have a niche market outside Japan (although some like Lost Odyssey did well) but in Japan they sell the console.
When I had my PS2 I really tried to get into Final Fantasy. I did for awhile but eventually got bored. Didn't really like ANY RPG until Oblivion, which I love. I guess I'm more western RPG if anything.
My son, on the other hand, loved Lost Odyssey (though it got too long for him) and seems quite happy with Japanese RPGs.
Maybe they should release a demo?
I think Fallout 3 is also getting in short supply because of the whole Red Ant going into liquidation thing...
Looks like they had fun...
Nah...backwards compatibilty is something that may not pay you back financially, but makes your buyers happier about the transition and able to go on nostalgia trips to their past great games.
Getting rid of it was a really stupid decision. I mean the 360 has more backwards compatible games now and they never promised it like Sony did. I couldn't afford the inital run of PS3s that had emulation (that's all they had here in OZ...not the chip) but when the 40 gig came along I bou...
Ferrari is still a very classy car...
redsquad's got a point there...
