What do you only like sequels and the same old stuff rehashed with some new clothes on? Those games, while not all of them innovative in style, do look fairly original at least.
Unlike some big titles from PS3 and 360 I could name...
Exactly Super...
There are some great concepts that could be polished up by the big publishers, but with EA making huge losses and the global financial freakout, will they take the chance and buy NEW IPs?
I'd be interested to know what you think, as you seem to understand these things...
Ya Mein Fuhrer ! LOL...seriously not a great pic...but I do miss the robot version in Wolfenstein 3D...
Yes I find it troubling, but hardly surprising. A lot of these games were announced before the PS3 had much penetration in the market.
Yeah I'd love for that game to come about. I even enjoyed the Knights of the Temple games last gen set during the Crusades. The website for Crusade Constantinople has some good concept art and story but without a big publisher will it get out there on the 360?
I also notice that a lot of them are 360/ PC games...not PS3? Not trying to start a flame war, but it seems the more PC-type titles that are also listed for 360 are the ones going missing.
Those games have a lot in common: they aren't sequels, they all have interesting concepts, and they don't come from big publishers. It's a shame if they don't re-appear because there are a few I'd love to play!
Awesome! There hasn't been a NRL game since NRL 2 on Xbox and PS2. Though I can play that on the 360 thanks to backwards compatibility, if it's any good on PSP I'll be getting this.
I agree with the OP....Killzone doesn't deserve GOTY for FPS yet when the year isn't even finished. I hope Modern Warefare 2 is better!
The OP is so right. Thief Deadly Shadows was one of my all time favourite games along with Goldeneye and RE4. It deserves a magnificent sequel.
I just hope gamers are 'patient' enough these days to enjoy a stealth-based game, or that it gives you a choice in how to play like MGS4 did that makes everyone happy!
And as usual all of the biggies will be dumped in that same overcrowded end of year period. Sigh.
Totally agree with OP....half the time people move on from online multi unless it is a COD or Halo or Killzone. Waste of time and effort that could be used polishing the single player game in most cases.
Now if they really want their multi to be played for long term, they need a offline split screen multi too...that way when it dies off online it can still be played at home, even if it isn't as intense.
I'm not much of a FF fan, but the description sounds pretty amazing! FF fans will love it, it sounds like and maybe some new fans will get into it!
Me too, unless it's my kids...then I goof off. I still have nightmares of singing Africa by Toto on a kareoke machine with mates after a few beers....it was sooooo awful dogs started howling.
Good to see MS supporting Lips still.
Boston Legal...I love that show.
Yup...happens way too much. It's like wow is that all? Nice title and that's about it!
That's a new game not a sequel lol!
Yeah it's great for teasing, and a bit of attention, but useless for detail.
I personally don't like the trilogy model....especially the Too Human idea if they don't go back to making Eternal Darkness 2 and instead head for Too Human 2! Also what happens if you like the series so much that you want more than 3...you can remake games to be different like they did with Bond in film.
A trilogy locks them in at 3, which works only if there is a clear story arc that is properly followed (like the original Star Wars or Lord of the Rings movies say). I don't m...
lol.
Hopefully not dead...
