"I predicted years ago this school massacre game would arrive. I hate being right all the time."
He's right all the time?
Still I do agree that the way games are pushing controversial stuff these days to get attention, this sort of crap being made was inevitable just because people notice and any attention is apparently good.
I wish games would stop focusing on 'gory kills' and focus on story, gameplay, locales, and fu...
Totally agree with you. If I was Valve I'd send a 'thanks for nothing' note to the modders.
"Half-Life murder simulator" hmmm
I'm all for old-school quick shooting just for fun like Timesplitters, but really...is a gore-fest with uninspiring environments that exciting?
I say no.
In the words of their Call of Duy spoof: "boring...boring...boring ..."
Yeah the Untouchables had it all: story, characters, music...it is a classic.
Let's hope LA Noire follows with the same ingredients and concentrates on depth in its story, not be like Mafia games, or the Darkness, or Heavy Rain, or a pseudo- mystery game like Condemned.
Maybe they'll use it in the next single player DLC if there is one?
Not if it means the next game is going to be revolutionary America..that will be a bummer.

Soooo look forward to playing this, but it doesn't sound like the single player bit goes to the Alhambra in Spain...just the multi, which is too bad if true. It'd be a great environment to play single player mission in.
That's not really a bad thing....some of those special additions seem more expensive than if you bought them separately
Of course, as usual, the British Redcoats will be the evil doers... not the totally innocent oppressed non-self serving, non-expansionist 13 Colonists....
It looks interesting enough, but a bit too strange for me to actually buy. Games like this need demos imo. Unless there was one and I didn't see it...
Well I'd like it to go further back myself...but not likely. If it is going to be around this time period then I just think those other options have better locations for a free running game
I'd really hope it doesn't go to the US. Part of the appeal are the rich historical settings from hundreds of years ago. Chronologically the American Revolution works, but the US at the time didn't have nearly the rich architectural cities to climb and jump around in as elsewhere...unless it is going more small scale cities with lots of countryside, farms etc. The battles between the French in Canada and the British would even be more interesting IMO. The French revolution too, a...
I don't think that's the point. I think it's about if 360 fans would have liked it. Not if it is technically possible or not.
Lol why do they want to piss you off? Because they want to steal these awesome exclusives? That's called envy...lol.
I didn't like Killzone 2 except the cover system. Great game, yes, but felt too samey over the levels.
Stupidest idea ever...
It does look pretty cool compared to the pathetic excuses for LE versions lately.
First everyone does WW2 to death by going to the same battles, doing the same thing: Nomandy (over and over), Market Garden, etc.
Now we have them all doing modern warfare to death by going to the same kind of battles and places, again: Russia, Middle East....
That kills the fun right there.
Yeah it seems silly to have to put it down to 2D after a bit when the whole high price seems to be for the 3D.
I much prefer playing Uncharted 2 or AC: Brotherhood type locales over apocalyptic modernish ruins too.
I'd say that for me shooters are kind of losing appeal because they a look and play samish with samish places these days. I don't think technical achievement in graphics are the only criteria for beautiful.
