What a great idea from Sony to try and show subscribers more benefit. I don't have PS+, but Xbox Gold subscribers should get more than they do imo.
Saw something about it in the new GameInformer, but yeah...otherwise nothing. There should be more joint promotion from MS I think, besides just on the dashboard, and websites should feature more info on DLC games. Not just COD this and Killzone that.
On the sad month comment, I think the end of Bizarre is worse than Mirror's Edge 2 cancellation...
and on Egypt, I may be naive, but I'm hoping the regime change means more freedom over there. It was getting pretty bad.
Some of these re-releases in HD aren't much of an upgrade from what they were, especially if you've already kept them all this time, but it a great idea for gamers who missed out or who want to revist them.
I'd really like to see an Eternal Darkness HD, as long as it is worked on and not just getting jaggies smoothed out etc.

I'd rather see atmosphere win over gore in survival horror titles. But there seems to be a big focus on gore these days.
Gaming is going through an unoriginal phase in some areas (most console big releases) but has a lot of originality in others (iPhone etc.).
Trailers are meant to sell things...that's about all, I think.

What no figurine in his MUST HAVE list? I personally enjoy them if they are decent. I'd love a choice of them. Sure I like Ezio in black and white, but I'd also love some of the multi characters or AC1 Templars etc. They don't have to be huge.
I'd still like to find the little metal figurines that came with the Civ 5 LE.
Actually I think Bioshock 1's collector's was even better. I loved the Big Daddy metalic figure, soundtrack etc.
I think collector's editions have really gone downhill: either they are nothing much or they cost a fortune...
I swear, some of these iPhone games are just more fun than normal gaming right now. But then I tend to buy a heap of them and forget what I even have...

Yeah it's only fairly recently that I've encountered Android phones as most people I know have iPhones. Im happy with my apple system and the one demonstration a friend gave me with his Android system didn't impress me.
My son is really looking forward to this but the reports of 3D headaches and the like don't encourage me. I get headaches from movies in 3D so I was hoping this tech without the glasses would work better. I'll wait and see, especially with the NGP also coming.

AUD$350 is definitely too rich for me for a console with 3D I'll probably have to constantly change to 2D because of eye strain and headaches.
I've read a report by an optometrist that said the 3DS is harder on eyes than 3D tv or 3D movies and should only be done in short bursts. Mind you it was worse for kids...but aren't these sort of aimed at kids?
