...how exactly?
Lame.

I've been playing some Indigo Prophecy after reading all the positive feedback of that game and am quite intrigued actually!
I really digg those pshycological adventure games! Heavy rain should be awesome and Alan Wake looks like it could be a winner as well.
Halo 3 MP is fantastic, I just prefer the feel/style and pacing of COD4.
I don't care what people say, but millions of people play halo 3 MP on a daily basis ever since it released. You can't argue against that.
Both great games, but my pick is COD4.
The level design is good actually, not quite as convincing as GTA IV, but miles ahead of that pathetic game called Prototype.
Gameplay looks like it could be major fun, but I'm not entirely convinced yet. They have to get rid of that silly running animation though, it's really horrible!
Keeping my eye on this one!
I mean, I'm Dutch myself. But, is it really all that relevant what the Dutch charts look like?
We're a pretty tiny and insignificant country. In that case, people should start posting charts from Belgium and the likes as well.
This should not be approved by any standards.
Copy/paste from the youtube comments section. ;p
Actually, he never said that with so many words. He kind of avoided the quesiton which was in the lines of: "were some off those trailers CG" where he first says it's all real, but then immediately mentiones 'Ted' to imply he's only referring to Insomniacs Resistance.
A bit confusing, and avoiding the actual question. He knew bloody well that Jeff was refering to the Killzone footage and he sure doesn't go out of his way to make clear the footage of Killzone is actual...
Game looks interesting though, but it reminds me too much of Crackdown in terms of artistic design. Not a bad thing, but I'd like something a bit more refreshing.
The impression I got was that they find that Killzone 2 brings a nice refreshing to a pretty outplayed/cliché sub-genre.
But, maybe that's just me.
Gears 2 and Killzone 2 both look great in their own respect, I'm having a hard time determining which looks better.
Regardless of which they pick between those two, it's always a deserved winner imo.
@below: You just had to turn this into a fanboy fight didn't you? And you actually seem to have this idea that I give a sh*t about what some random internet fanboy tough guy thinks. You're on my ignore list now so don't waste you're time anymore replying to my posts...
...and look at how much better the Toca series was.
The game looked like a mess back when they first showed it at Ubidays. Lack of polish, poor AI, lame concept, etc.
I think they're going back the safe route and develop something a little closer to what the series has always been, and quite frankly, I'm glad they are!
People really can't miss out on this masterpiece. I know they've letdown a lof of PS3 owners out there and many of these are talking crap about Valve and the Half-life series in return, but the fact of the matter is that they're still missing out on the best FPS franchise ever.
I'm fortunate to own both a 360 and PS3, but I feel sorry for the PS3 folks missing out on this wonderfull experience.
Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo all don't deserve the 'winner' tag, instead the hardcore gamers have lost.
So many great games gone unmentioned at this years E3, so many surprise no-shows and so many nasty surprises, almost always involving games only your grandma and grandpa would dare play.
Casual gamers won E3 2008.
This conference, including the MS and Nintendo ones have all been borefests.
I'm not going to be like so many pathetic sods around here and claim who dominates who...but seriously, all in all the conferences this year have been pathetic.
Except for Resistance (awesome!), that was one crappy conference.
No demo, no surprise, no big deal. This game will sell purely by the boxart and the name written on it.
Hardly surpising indeed.
Call me old fashioned, but the most important thing for me when playing a game is FUN. This year, of all games, I've had the most fun with Gears 2, by and large!
So based on that, it's my GOTY. But I suppose that doesn't suit your "holy laws" on what determines a GOTY.
Seriously, people on these boards...
