It's about pickup speed; Acceleration if you will. That's where the term "input lag" comes from. There's a slight delay in when you move the stick, and the gun responds. Or not even always delay, but it picks up immediately, but responds very slowly, and then "accelerates".

I think this is PS3's Gears of War in that regard.
I think the "it's an RPG" argument isn't a valid one and it's coming off a bit easy like that. I realise it can't be as polished as say a COD4, but it must be atleast above average for it to be worthwile.

Before they went back to the drawing board, it looked like a mess. The fact that they realised this, and did a complete overhaul shows they atleast care enough to want to make somthing worthwile, I hope.
Can't be arsed about GRAW and AC quite frankly. Perhaps that will change when I see some interesting info/footage, but I wasn't too impressed with GRAW2 and the first AC.
Going from 480 to 720P matters, going from 720P to 1080P just isn't that big of a deal. Sure, it makes a noticable difference, just not to the point where it's worth the trade off. The difference between 720P and 1080P is seriously overrated imo.
An ugly game in 720P will look atleast as ugly at 1080P, a beautiful game running at 1080P will look almost equally good in 720P.
The New Xbox Experience is a bit overdone imo, not all that exciting. But, the fact that a 360 now is cheaper than a Wii is quite something really. Say what you want, and I'll be the first to agree with you in that MS made some terrible mistakes (RROD for example!), but they have done this pretty well.
I think if they can keep ahead of the Wii in terms of pricepoint, they're on to something half decent anyway.
I owned both a 360 and PS3, and even though I got the RROD twice (!), I sold my PS3 and kept the 360 (will probably getting a PS3 again this year though).
Why did I sell my PS3 and keep my 360? Simple...GAMES! I'm not short of money, so that's no reason to choose the 360 over the PS3 for me. The PS3 obviously has better hardware and features, but in the end it's the games that really make the difference. And, so far, the 360 games generally appeal more to me.

MS has done this far too many times imo, so I'm glad they're taking their time with this one. Look at Killzone 2, it paid off pretty nicely me thinks!
On the other hand, it's no guarantee for success (Too Human springs to mind). But I have a feeling MS realises they can't screw up this one, and the devs have a good track record. Atleast we'll see Alan Wake before GT5 arrives. ;p
