So the US is ok having Batman choked with a rope than to have Wonder Woman choked with a hand, I find that kind of funny.

I find gaming journalism so bias, before the PS4 was even thought of, you would never see an article like this about Xbox Live. Now ever since the PS4 announcement and the Microsoft employee defending online-only business model negative article about Xbox Live start popping up.

So you are telling everyone that they do not have an xbox 360 in this article thread because you were online all morning since no one here can vouch, is this to be the most hated prejudice commenter in the article thread or something?

On top of that, in order for someone here to know that, they would have to be your friend on xbox live, and you don't even list your gamer tag in your profile. You appear to be an instigator to me at least.

I have never had a problem with a mic, have you ever though that the mic itself could be faulty?

When it comes down to it, PSN is like computer gaming when it comes to communication in game. As with Xbox Live and cross game chat it ruins the experience in multiplayer games, hence the name "cross game chat."

The PS3's answer to cross game chat is cross game text chat rooms, it's not the same thing, but allows for more people to communicate a...

As with the RAM the only difference was that xbox 360 has unified RAM of 512MB while the PS3 has split RAM at 256 system / video. This is what I think was holding the PS3 back from doing more OS tasks at the same time as gaming, but allowed better developed games than the xbox 360.

Now with the new PS4 I'm guessing RAM is unified not forcing developers to handle the RAM as carefully as they had to previously. I think they will dedicate 2GB of RAM to the OS and the rest fo...

Cross game chat isn't as good as it sounds when playing multiplayer games, that feature is best with single player games / modes. I say this because when in a party the voices of the team is muted and all you hear is people in the group.

Plus it's called cross game chat for a reason, so a person can be playing one game while another is playing something else but can still talk using voice. People now use that feature to cheat in online gaming, which sucks because com...

Viruses can come from all locations, not just adult content. This goes back to a no unified ecosystem for computer gaming, a person can send me an email that could contain a virus and they might not even know it.

- computer games tend to require more than utilizing current specifications
GTX 560 runs games at max. In other words, no they don't. I wish a game existed that could push my GTX 690

The thing about computer gaming that I do not like are:

- viruses are more prone, especially with Windows platform
- computer games tend to require more than utilizing current specifications
- the keyboard isn't good for all types of games, like fighting
- computer games take up a lot of resources
- downloading different operating systems is the equivalent to playing an old game on its proprietary console
- top of the line computer...

The Wii U actually sold more than the PS3 or Xbox 360 around the same time frame, so when people say the Wii U is failing than the PS3 and Xbox 360 failed as well.

Why would a company spend that much on marketing, when the announcement already did that. It would make sense to spend money on advertisements, which is different than marketing?

The title in itself makes no sense to me at all, let alone what the article is talking about.

I would not be surprised if the employee was actually defending a business model than voicing an opinion. People are paying for Xbox Live while everyone else isn't paying for the same thing, and I have been thinking that way before PlayStation Plus.

Yes currently Xbox Live social features are unified than the current PSN, but all that changes with the PS4. In the end, as long as Microsoft makes people think their business model has more value, there will always be money c...

The funny thing about the cell chip comment, Microsoft actually got designs to the cell and used part of it in their own design. But the cell chip had problems and was postponed and Microsoft had a quick fix by fabricating the chips instead of having completely identical architecture a year earlier than Sony.

For the people responding to "halo is dead" I think the person means in terms of gameplay. Yes Halo is popular, but once you have played one you know how to play them all; same weapons, same guns, but with different skins. The same people jumping with one ton spartans while shooting still happens.

The last Halo, finally upgraded the graphics, but I find that one to be the buggiest game of them all. Halo is like the pretty girl in school, but knows nothing. The game ...

I think the biggest mistake Sony made with the PS3 was the agreement with IBM to be able to sell parts of the PS3 cell chip's architecture to other clients that eventually helped Microsoft.

That resulted with developers to start on the Xbox 360 first and port over to the PS3 ignoring the PS3's more advanced features. This is why I think Sony came out a year later because there were problems with the chip, but Xbox 360 rushed their console anyways.

I'm surprised that the person doesn't like the social aspect of the PS4, how can anyone not like social media features? The PS3 gets a lot of criticism because the social aspect of PSN isn't unified like Xbox Live, now that it's more social than the current Xbox Live, unified social features is a bad thing.

I love Sony's business model, but liked Xbox Live's unified social experience. Now I can get both on one platform free of charge and then some. <...

Generally Battlefield has a better design enforcing the teams to work together, but Call of Duty tends to be a little more polished with minimal upgrades with each game. If both games use their current design philosophy I would say the Battlefield franchise will have an upper hand.

To me it makes no sense to be a one person army in team based modes.

I also find there is a lot of unbalanced elements in Call of Duty than in Battlefield. For example if I'm i...

The games are compared because they are in the same genre, their expression has nothing to do with what is compared.

What makes more sense, comparing Uncharted 3 (Action-Adventure) with Gears of War 3 (Action) or Halo 4 (Action) with Gears of War 3 (Action)?

When games evolve in a genre, or take a completely different direction it doesn't mean they are not part of the genre anymore.

Halo has been using the same engine for years and people never complained. With the new Halo 4, graphics finally updated with less features and bugs (especially with Swat matches).

If the consumers still buy the product, why change something that is not in demand? When a company does become more radical they get shunned because it's too new or people think they lost their focus.

It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation.

Used games is ok, but I find places that generally do sell used games are way too over priced. Games in general will drop around 66.67% of what they were, of their current price. Places like Game Stop will buy your game with about 66.67% deducted from the full price currently and will raise the price to 91.67% closer to the current price of a new game.

I would not hate used games if developers got the piece of the pie similar to digital rental services like Netflix or Cineple...
