At this point the technology is here, Nintendo just don’t see the need to if people keep buying it. Smash Brothers will create a surge, and the demographic just doesn’t care.

Using old code is what all companies do especially if money is involved, it saves time. It’s rare for any company to start from scratch for every project like every final fantasy game.
I’m not going to hold my breath, IGN and Gamespot game Perfect Dark a 9/10 and games like Quantum Break get average scores. So I tend to think the opposite when it comes to gaming.
It won’t help with much hardware numbers if you can get it on PC, it’s like relaying on exclusive content with a multi platform game.
Technically it was at $60/yr would be about $5/month. At $70/yr it is now closer to $6/month, lol.
The XBOX ONE X added power is there with off-line content, as soon as it goes into the online space it would be unfair. With 4K, upscaling this generation is ok due to pricing, to have true 4K The price tag would be way over $600.00.
Secondly, the Pro is more of an overclocked PS4 so it doesn’t leave other models behind with online content thus not rendering the advantages useless. Specs versus practice.
My guess, most of them are either on PC or multiplatform, lol.
