I seriously have no idea why someone would disagree with you. There's some terribly uninformed people out there with propaganda instead of thoughtful opinions. It's scary and sad.
Why? Because he's so attractive to you? I don't think he would anyway; guy's married with kids! Probably wouldn't risk it. Keep dreaming though. Maybe!
Haha. You mean journalists in general on this one. All media is sensationalized at this point. This is an important issue but you are right. This has not a lot to do with gaming.
Thank goodness. You know that net neutrality is about making sure the internet is free access to everyone, right? You know, LIKE IT ALREADY IS. He supports not letting corporations dig around on the internet for more profit by bottlenecking those who don't pay more. Man. "He believes in government controlling the internet." That's almost an entirely misleading statement. "Government" here would be just making sure internet access stays the same AS IT ALREADY IS.
I hope this game is gonna make me crap myself...It's been so long. I want to make sure I'm still capable of crapping myself. I'm stoked to see all the playthroughs of this game. Force (www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dy8KN IrrBrg) did a pretty good freakout on the demo.
I'm pretty sure that's not what they're trying to do. No one of any significance has tried to interfere with their artistic whatevers. There is no enemy of "freedom" here. Just a touch of sensationalism. It's a good product and a hellafun game, like you said!
They nailed the single-player in RDR and the multiplayer was damn fun too. I trust their history on this. They are such top-notch developers it's hard to see them flopping out on either aspect of a new game.
Holycrap. They're acting like a greedy corporation! Too bad they'll alienate their target demographic with moves like this. Truly too bad. I actually like my xbone.
Dragon's Crown was rad and the first game I ever played from VanillaWare. I'm going to check this game out so hard. A little bit of a straw man article though. No one likes "pundits." Conversations about art style and social commentary are fine, though and essential to have in an intelligent society. I thought the booba-licious sorcerer was funny and weirdly hot and I'm fine talking about whether that's okay or not. I'm not threatened by those conversations. But ...
Man. You are a case in point for propaganda working. Any other buzzwards you think have missed out on? You really aren't saying anything of substance but it sure sounds good. There are 8 different loaded terms you used and the rest are just there to link them together. At first I thought it was an opinion and then I realized I've seen that exact wording stitched together about a thousand times already in forums for self-proclaimed "victims of oppression".
Awesome, thanks!
I've played violent games and never been prone to violence because of it. But I'm a sample size of 1. You might as well throw away that information. That being said, there's a switch in some people that's gonna get triggered no matter what. We can't live our life around that. We can try and keep them from getting a gun (maybe) but we don't really try that hard on that one here.
Thanks to the author! I do as well. I just got a second controller for my xbox one and have been trying to find a game my partner might want to play. Any suggestions for her?
Man, you really need to get over this whole "SJW" thing. People actually care about social issues. It's always been that way. That's how society makes progress. History doesn't start with the feminist movement iteration of the last few years. You shouldn't either.
@gta_manic- Good for you! It's def a great philosophy to stop reading words a few of 'em in. Thems elitist anyhow. Good luck!
@DragonKnight- I'm not joking. Gawker is funny, frequently insightful and germane, and has an incredibly loyal following with some intelligent and astute commentary. There's trashiness there too for the guilty pleasures. Now. I know you made your last statement up. People with brains read Gawker. You're just being a touch mean since you know I read Gawker. So get bent!
I totally agree. At least one difference between Occupy and Gamergate though: Gamergate was at it's inception the most offensive voices and only after did we see well-meaning and reasonable people try and craft a cause. Now it's just hangers-on parroting assertions of "conspiracy" and "sjw". It's been co-opted by Men's Rights Activists, anti-feminist conservatives, and people who don't want to admit their community (and themselves) may have some flaws. ...
Here's a better few words for the reading crowd: http://gawker.com/what-is-g... I highly recommend perusing the comments to get a different view of this issue then you'll get on this forum. I love you n4g!
You don't think people talk about failure? They sure do. That's not good logic Foxtrot. People talk about Gamergate today as a failure. The vast majority of the thinking world has concluded that Gamergate is a failure. It's not propaganda, not a conspiracy, not Joseph Goebbels. A lot of people on these forums seem to be anti-reality on this issue. Freaks me out.
I read yours. You just posted a link from a well-known conservative/free-market think tank. (big surprise given the incorrect conclusions re price-setting, subscription, and taxes). Here's mine, with less propaganda: http://www.politico.com/sto... Now GOP is on board with net neutrality because of substantial public pressure to support net neutrality.
