Unless he is going with a truck load of money no one is going to care. Until xbox owners buy enough copies of Japanese games to pay for the ports and other publishing costs publishers aren't going to spend the money to bring games to the console when they can just put them on PS4 or Switch where they will be profitable.
PSNow doesn't have "common latency or lag" you keep saying that and talking about these "other issues" even after myself and other people have told you that it works fine. And just a FYI PSNow is available on PC's it's not just PS4.
Regardless of who provides a streaming service there is going to be latency and lag that's the nature of the internet. It's not going to be less when it's Microsoft providing it that it is when anyone...
Divinity is based off some old ass game (Divine Divinity) and Pillars was basically based off other old ass games (like Planescape and Baulder's Gate).
And if you think it's just fetch quests it just shows that you didn't actually play the game or simply couldn't follow the story.
Also, I didn't realize simply being able to read and follow a story made a person a sophisticate. But I guess that's better than being what ever people ...
I don't disagree... but to be fair it only takes like 30 seconds to cancel a subscription on PlayStation, you can do it right from the console. You can easily sign up for the trial then cancel right after and still enjoy the 7 days.
First off you can download it, and second off the game is awesome for people who enjoy classic CRPG's and have an attention span greater than a goldfish. I'd just like to remind you the original Planescape Torment is one of the most revered games of all time, people asked for this game for years.
I have been playing it quite a bit, this update actually released Tuesday but the blog was a lil late.
I'm not going to fault you for feeling like that, don't misunderstand what I say. But perhaps think of it like this, a company makes a game then sells $120 worth of map packs and other crap for a year then they release a discounted version that has it all.
I'm not defending SE or the "complete edition" practice but that's more or less how I view this.
This game is actually really good. It went totally under the radar I think. Even though I love crpgs I had no idea this game even existed until I saw someone streaming it. If you like Baldurs Gate and Pillars of Eternity this game will be right up your alley for sure.
So Parris pointed out that everything you said was just a contradiction since you already admitted Japanese games sell better on PS4. So what did you do, you ignored him and pretended to not understand.
Srhalo gave you statistics after you made an argument that contradicted what you had already said. So what did you do, you ignored him and pretended to not understand.
And you replied to me ignoring every single thing I sa...
"The bigger Japanese devs have all released their games on Xbox"
Sega is pretty big, no Yakuza games. Square Enix is pretty big, no Dragon Quest games. Namco/Bandai is pretty big no Ni No Kuni Capcom is big no Street Fighter V Atlus (sega) no Persona 5... I could go on, but I already pointed out that xbox has gotten around 10% of PS4's Japanese games big and small. (I know your not pretending to not understand or anything)
No, gangsta what your doing is the same thing you do every time. Your pretending to not understand the over-arching thing I am talking about.
The thing I am saying is that if xbox had been the main console this gen Japanese gaming wouldn't have been nearly as successful as it has been with PS4. And that Microsoft will not support Japanese gaming if it's owners don't buy the games in larger numbers.
It's great that you bought Japanese games on the 360, I have a number of them as well. But the point is that they were largely rejected by the fan base on large especially as the generation went on and Microsoft themselves shut the doors on Japanese development.
And if Shenmue was the only game that sold poorly on xbox vs PS4 what you said would be valid, but this has been a running issue all gen. Games like FFXV which sold around 18% Tekken which sold 12% Dragon Ball ...
"How is the state of the japanese gaming industry the 360’s fault? "
When the 360 had half the gaming market but it's owners weren't willing to buy Japanese games it was a huge issue. And Microsoft who at first supported Japanese game development quite literally shut the door on Japanese development after the 2'nd year of 360.
Many long time companies went under and the larger companies were forced to attempt to make westernized gam...
"but they do sell and they obviously sell enough for Japanese developers to continue to release games on the system"
Oh really... have you looked at PS4's list of Japanese games? Are any Tales games besides the Vesperia remake on it, how about Atelier or Dragon Quest (Builders Heroes XI) or Ni No Kuni... I could go on and on until I listed over 100 games... But the reality is about 10% of Japanese games get ported over to xbox. ...
And the reason for that was because that was they thought xbox owners would buy that since they weren't buying traditional Japanese games. (Note: they didn't buy those games either.)
That was not something they wanted to do that was a reaction to the situation they were put in.
F2P on xbox won't ever be an issue like crossplay was because Microsoft had there third party advertising teams paying per click for websites to run articles about it.
