No... this is a completely different issue. Xbox was making you check in for all games even games you bought on disk. And the purpose was to tie your games to your xbox live account so you couldn't trade or resell the disks. This is a 100% totally different issue.
Now I would prefer if the system just put a time stamp of your account when you downloaded your games. but let's not compare the obviously different goal of the original xbox plan with a check in for ...
What world do you live in where people have unlimited funds to buy things?
The average number of games purchased per user in 2017 according to Sony was around 9 that's less than one per month and that included indies and other cheaper games. When you look at the number of games released monthly it's obvious that nearly all gamers have some sort of budget. Something will have to give. I guarantee that if they raise prices to $80 the often talked about price that ...
That's not how it works. If a person has say $100 a month to spend on games that's what they are going to have regardless of how much games costs. If a game costs $50 that person will buy 2 games, if the games costs $100 a person will buy 1 game. There won't be any net growth for the industry, if anything all that will do is push out developers who can't sell anything anymore.
There have been a lot of this type of leak in the past and I can't recall them ever being true. But if this is the case that would be one of the best months PS4 has ever seen.
Dig up the article's where Microsoft takes a jab at Nintendo when they released either of their Mini's. Go find me some of those articles where you criticized Nintendo.
It's pretty obvious the reactions we're seeing are entirely different.
PUBG could have been popular on PS4, but at this point no one cares, they are invested in Fortnite or waiting on other BR games. PUBG has even fallen off on xbox and the PC user base has dropped by around 2/3 of it's peak. Regardless of it's success on PS4 the fact is it could have done much better.
Basically, I don't know what the battle is your trying to win is, but it seems pretty dumb.
It would be better if it did well but honestly but if it does poorly it's just a lesson about not avoiding the PS brand. Especially when there is a competitive market. Bluehole left the door open for Fortnite and all the others. If it bombs they have no one to blame but themselves.
This is exactly how I always feel when this comes up. Why is sex in games taboo but wholesale murder for virtually any reason is totally acceptable? it doesn't make any sense at all.
I feel like people don't appreciate this type of game for what it is. This isn't a bad review or anything but compared to other types of games like this LoR is really quite good. Good story fun class system great art style and interesting dungeons.
