They were cheap and Microsoft just wanted press attention. I wouldn't be surprised if these companies they buy get one more game and if that game isn't a hit they get shut down like Lionhead and all the others.
This is Spider-Man's 2'nd week and it's on a single console vs multiplatform and this is UK where Tomb Raider has always been especially popular. And Tomb Raider is a huge IP let's not forget the number of movies and things related to it. And when it comes to games historically Tomb Raider games have sold more than Spider-Man games.
No matter how you look at it this is quite a surprising t...
It would make a strong launch title if that's a possibility. And the second game likely would have a much faster dev cycle now that they have the engine built.
Huh it would be nice to have an actual good game built in the FO4 engine. Something tells me that if this project were to ever complete Bethesda would shut it down.
Wow... the game didn't even look that good to begin with. It's pretty sad their optimization just boils down to removing graphical effects. You'd think with all the money they made they could have hired a few technicians to do some proper optimizations.
Meh, I am not interested in cloud especially if it comes with more subscriptions and monthly fees. I just want to buy my console buy a disk and play a game.
Pretty neat idea for a console, though it's basically just a weird PC until they make some dedicated games for it. Seems like it needs some drivers according to EG, but TBH I feel like with out software that is crafted around it specifically it won't really shine.
