It seems to be doing fine on PlayStation it's had 7 mainline games two Remakes plus re-releases of of the 3 PS3 games 4 spin-offs not including the recent Fist of the North Star and there is the new Project Judge announced for PlaySation.
I think it's selling well enough where it is to get plenty of sequels.
They would have got sequels if xbox owners had bought them. Tons of Japanese from PS3 (and before) are still getting sequels because PlayStation owners bought the games.
Look at the Tales series, Vesperia was on xbox but all the other games have been on PlayStation.
No, what you just said is the false narrative. It's a fact that xbox hasn't had a single Japanese game sell even 20% of the total sales compared to PS4. Even big games like Final Fantasy failed to sell well on xbox.
Xbox fans just want to be able to say xbox has this or that Japanese game but when it comes to actually buying them they don't put the money where the mouth is.
There is a reason why Japanese publishers make western ports for PS4...
See the thing is PS4 was actually more powerful than the xbox, the S still can't play most multi-platform games in 1080p It's so bad Microsoft basically pretends it doesn't even exist anymore. Where as no one except xbox owners ever claimed exclusives were important.
Xbox owners pretended something wasn't true. PS4 owners talked about something that was true. Big difference.
Microsoft's list of games is much smaller than Sony's both this generation and historically. If you look at PSNow almost all Sony published big games from PS3 are available, not all of course but a large selection. Give them some credit they offer over 700 games.
"What does that even mean, so in order for me to teach history I need to steal the Mona Lisa or the Liberty Bell?"
Both of those things can be viewed publicly... They are essentially public domain by being in museums.
Do you understand this right?
And the point was, history is lost when things are not made available. Look at TV, so many shows and broadcasts have been lost to history and have never been seen by most people al...
Of course you had to get in on it. Actually historically I have supported piracy as a form of archiving history. I have tons of obscure and hard to find games from all systems including PlayStation. Plus it's the only way to play fan translations of Japanese games.
My stance on piracy has never changed. but thanks for your input.
p.s. I am also very much anti DRM on pc, feel free to check my comment history.
