Innovation in graphics is always a given, and is already visible on both systems, with Killzone and Forza. It's the innovations in gameplay that will truly shine next generation. I think the huge alwayss changing online worlds like Destiny, and the expansion of the online space like Planetside 2 and even BF4 64 players will be big players. But even in the single player experiences, the extra power of the systems will really be revealed in the next few years with vast improvements in the n...
To me the video just looked like a tease of concept. Perhaps a coop single player as the two characters on the left worked together to take down the right? Should be interesting.
I recall Sony stating that this feature doesn't eat up system resources because there are separate video compression and decompression chips on board that are utilized specifically for this feature, similar to how there is a separate chip for downloading and uploading in the background. Can anyone confirm this?
Im' expecting that it will work just like any other videos on youtube, with the majority being crap and the gems bubbling to the surface. However, i think where the video sharing really shines is the social aspect, sharing your best moments with your friends and using it to share tips for certain sections.
@miDnlghtEr20C_SfF developers can choose what sections of their games can and cannot be recorded, including the end of the game and the bosses. Some developers said that they would include these restrictions near launch, then would allow full game recorded at a later date
as an honest fan of Playstation, Knack just doesnt look that fun to me, but I certainly appreciate having a variety of games to play. I feel like Playstation has always had a good selection of platformer games like Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper, which I have sank countless hours into. I won't be pickling up Knack, but that doesn't mean that it is a bad game, it's just not on the same level as other Sony platformers.

In GT6 the sun was low we in the sky giving it a dusk orange glow. That is my hypothesis.
The PS4 was number one on Amazon until the Launch Day edition sold out. Now there are 4 or 5 PS4 bundles on Amazon that are still in the top 10 next to the Xbox One. Add all of those up and it would be safe to say its way more than the Xbox. Look at all the multi platform PS4 games ahead of the Xbox version on Amazon, like Battlefield and Watchdogs. That alone speaks to where the players are going. I'm not trying to say the PS4 is better, but there is no doubt in my mind that it is sellin...
Blizzard has been quoted saying that they can get World of Warcraft on PS4, but its not a natural or fun experience like it is on the PC. However, MMORPG's have been shown to be effective on consoles, like Planetside 2, which has been confirmed to have the full 2000 players on consoles.
you gotta get the padded toilet seats like at grandma's house. Never again will your fanny be cold
I believe the PS3 and the Wii launched on the same day in the United States. Can anyone correct me if I'm wrong?
Naughty Dog is in California
Xbox has the Kinect by default, so no doubt, developers will add some very compelling features to the box. The nice thing is though, since they develop these features for the Xbox, it will be very easy to port them over to the PS4. The features will obviously be optional since not everyone will have a camera, but it won;t cpst the developers any more money to add the saem features to the PS4.
As people have been stating, the 30 figure is the number of exclusive games in development by Sony Worldwide Studios, that means Sony owns them. I don't think indie games count in that number because they are independent of Sony. That being said, games like a new SingStar probably would be counted in the 30 because that Sony Japan I believe. I would say at least half, 15, will be high quality and worthy of playing time, and then on top of that would be the numerous exclusive indie games. ...
It's great that they can provide a good incentive for going digital without restricting us with DRM. Plus I think that if the feature is implemented well it could be a good boost to Vita sales.
YES
My first purchase of Battlefield 4 will be physical because it will be bundled with the system.
But after that I will be trying to go digital as much as possible because of the potential of Remote Play on the Vita. Purchasing digital ensures that I can play my entire library while I'm away and not just the one disk that's in the system. However, games that I intend to later sell will obviously still be physical purchases.
even look at the difference between uncharted and uncharted 3. Over a generation the leap in graphics is fantastic due to fine tuning and optimizations. If Shadow Fall looks this good now, jsut imagine how great the games will look in 3-4 years.
