I hope they make DLC or a second game
@Ultranova We shall see. Not even sure who would track it other than Sony.
Exactly, this generation PlayStation is doing well for itself. Nearly 3 years in its about to get even better. And in my opinion change the way we play video games and watch movies.
But 38 Million people have a PS4 already. Even if only 5% of users invest in PS-VR that's still 2 million people. I guarantee the PS4 userbase will be over 40 million by October. The holidays should push PS4 to the 50 million mark and PS-VR will reap the appeal come black Friday and Christmas. 5 million by March 2017 I'm predicting.
Lol yep should be able to pull them out of the fabric box of other peripherals I have and get them charged. I really should get me a PS MOVE gun. But I want a black one. Not white and orange.
Sony could announce the price now release of the hardware at E3. At E3 they should announce it releasing the following Tuesday June 21St bundle with No Man's Sky. Sony then drops the Mike.
Need to finish the Man-made. This way I can experiment with PSVR in my own private area. This way my wife doesn't think I'm a total dork. But I also hope they implement the ability to play regular games and watch regular and 3D TV. Could you imagine Playstation Vue with NFL Network connected to in-game cameras?
One man's trash really could be another man's treasure.
Microsoft needs more talented studios. More unique titles to match Sony. Not better hardware.
Modular console build. Hmmm. Upgrade RAM, Processor, Graphics Card, much like we can already upgrade the Hard drive. Like upgradeable hardware banks. We get the firmware upgrade through the new hardware, software upgrade via the Internet. And you don't have to mess with an office suite or word processor or the other software traditional for PCs because it would be first and foremost a Gaming Machine. A Personal Gaming Machine (PGM). I wouldn't exactly be against it if Microsoft or Son...
What I feel is unique to Sony is they have established Studios that are 1st and foremost skilled in storytelling. Sony with their hands in the movie industry benefit from this talent. So you don't always just have a shootem up style of game. Instead you get these playable novels that cater to a great percentage of their userbase; past, present and future. Day 1!
I wonder if in time the PS4 slim will combine this into its construction. Or is that more of a reality for PS5.
Damn according to Vgchartz and their rough numbers I expected the Microsoft XBOX One to outsell the PS4 by like 80,000. Go Playstation. Don't get complacent now.
Wow, the announcement trailer was spot on. Some will like this, some will hate it and some will be afraid. But there is a large fan-base of the past and also that of the present who will accept it for what it is and enjoy the hell out of it. I know one things for sure. Day 1 buy for me and guaranteed to be a record week.
Being episodic might mean we can start playing it at the end of 2016 and it may continue through 2017 and 2018. We'll see. I downloaded the port for PS4 this weekend and started playing as a refresher. I'm excited to see what this will do for Playstation and Sony but might be kind of fun to see the XBOX boys try this series for the first time on an XBOX system if it comes their way.
I was expecting at least $29.99 per title. I really don't think these are that pricey. just me, though. I guess we'll see if it catches on if Playstation reveals their digital sales for December.
I see this easily selling 2 million worldwide first week. Started playing the PC port tonight on PS4. The memories.
So, honest question, does the XBOX One allow you to play original XBOX games?
Well damn, I for one am grateful. I may have PS2 discs still packed away somewhere and I know my wife would be pleased to play Need For Speed Most Wanted if it gets added to the library. The thing is even if they made the PS4 have an emulator for PS2 games what's the guarantee that PS5 or 6 in the future will support disc based backwards compatibility or discs at all. I think this is Sony financially thinking about the future instead of investing time and money on emulation every console ...
I really am curious how many people went from XBOX to PS4. Or all who bought a XBOX plus a PS4. Then a want to know the ultimate reason they purchased the PS4. As XBOX 360 was so dominant last generation at least in the US anyway. Was is due to performance, cost, exclusive titlework. Personally I grew up on PlayStation had all the consoles. I actually liked and played the OG XBOX. Halo was new and fun and also liked Rally Sport Challenge. But I ended up picking the 360 up at a pawn shop and o...
