My wife enjoys watching me play God of War. Has played Resident Evil Revelations with me and still plays Diablo 3 with me. We also had some kick ass fun with Rocket League.
Curious, haven't looked yet, if the XBOX One and PS4 version received different scores with the availability of PSVR on PS4.
Yeah but they'll all still sell the best on PS4. Look at Final Fantasy XIV for example. Some of these might as well be exclusives with as little as other gamers pick these titles up on other platforms.
Man all of these games are awesome. And we'll definitely be getting most of them when I have the money but Days Gone really woke me up. Never seen that gameplay trailer until today. I would probably get pretty addicted to finding traps to squish, burn, crush or puncture a crap load of zombies. While hopefully finding a nice bike to ride off into the sunset with.
Sony laid everything out on the line in terms of hardware last quarter. PS4 SLIM, PSVR, and PS4 Pro. Customers had a wide range of choice this holiday. But now that the hardware is out Sony can focus on the software to include VR software. Software in general will sell the hardware if consumers are interested in VR at all.
Off topic: using Vgchartz guesstimates. I know some hate that, but Rise of the Tomb Raider for PS4 has narrowed the gap in comparison to XBOX One to $240k in 9 weeks. I give it 5 to 10 weeks before it surpasses. Microsoft had this deal for over a year.
@Apocalypse Shadow
Agreed
Those who are taking the risk now, investing the time and money. Tweaking hardware and software will eventually pay off. To quit now and give up allows the competition time to perfect their own patent and you lose out entirely.
@Overload
And with Scorpio income we can almost expect a sharp decline this year. We shall see.
I've made a new pact with myself today. I have tucked away in my bedside drawer a PS Vita. From this day forward if there is a PS4 or PS3 title playable on PS Vita I will take the time to play it on Vita. Scouts honor. At least to give it some warranted use since the wife got it for me a couple years ago.
I think Sony has everything to gain and nothing to lose so as long as they keep themselves in check.
1) Like the article emphasizes, Sony has released all of it's Hardware in 2016. PS4 slim, PS4 Pro and PSVR. Now they can focus on tweaking the hardware and dishing out Software.
2) Last year Sony performed a 1, 2 punch with releasing Uncharted 4 earlier in the year and then bundling for the Holidays. This did amazing things for sales. They could do ...
So uh Capcom, does this confirm that as soon as RE :7 is released you'll increase productivity on Deep Down? Deep down you know you want to. Just let it happen.
@Artemidorus
Lol. Nice. And that my friend is the beauty of it. As I still only have the OG PS4. I don't have a 4Ktv or pro or vr but in my opinion the base PS4 will always have tremendous value.
So times $60.00 per game and not Bundled they made 29 million dollars first week.
I own the PS4, I have a PC. Haven't had the desire to pick up anything from XBOX ever since I picked up my 360 from a pawn shop. Waiting to see what Project Scorpio is about before jumping in. I would get the Switch for Nintendo's exclusives. I just see Skyrim on Switch a swing and a miss.
^----- And not a single period (.) I'm assuming 3rd grader.
What's crazy is Horizon Zero Dawn is getting is initial momentum now and if Sony decides to bundle it during the Holiday Season like they did with Uncharted 4, I can see it selling at least 7 million before the year ends.
Aloy currently has bigger balls than Link. She'll be alright.
If they had an option to have waggle free controllers that could put the price down $50-$100 that would be awesome. Just stand alone normal controllers. Also if you use it as a handheld and you're on the road can you charge it or is there an option for batteries?The reveal informed me that with multiplats that I can stick to my PS4.
Lets wait and see what 2017 does for the Playstation brand for a full year to include VR. All new hardware is out officially in the end of 2016. Now it's up to the software to see the hardware. Let's talk about this topic this same time next year.
