PlayStation Now and the PlayStation Network says "Hell, you want a PSone game? Come look at what we have." With an ever expanding library.
I think "Always Online" is a useless statement. Not every single game out there is solely online. I think it would be dumb to claim that your console would require always online connection. I think it comes down to individual games, updates and online implementation.
I agree. As much as I can run out and still get Destiny right now I'm happily playing Wolfenstein The New Order on super duper hard mode. With Dust An Elysian Tail and Warframe waiting for me in the queue. I've got a treasure trove of games with PlayStation Now and what's available for the next 2 1/2 months. 2015 is coming bro but it's hardly needed.
This is brilliant when it comes to someone who had kids. I don't have to worry about them wanting to play the PS3/PS4 and trying to make sure they're not cramming and scratching a disc in backwards and potentially running an expensive piece of equipment. Just essentially turning it on and letting them run rampant with games like LEGO:"insert title here."
I like PlayStation. And I've been a long supporter of Sony products. But their quality has reduced significantly the past few years. And think the best that has come out is most PlayStation products. I can barely watch an entire movie on our Sony Blu-Ray player/sound system without warning restarting or stop playing sound. I would almost feel more confident if someone bought the PlayStation brand.
Oh, I play Rage on the PS3 on super duper hard mode. As long as you maintain plenty of ammo for every weapon it's pretty easy. Just a choppy built game. I do get some intense dreams after playing it though. Lol.
I think if Xbox One launched in September they would have had more information by now as far as numerous game footage like Sony has. It would seen rushed just like the Xbox One itself seems to be rushed. We should find out definitely at E3. For now I can't see either platform releasing earlier than October. I almost see PS4 releasing a week before black Friday. We'll see.
I hope I can find the time to enjoy this. As I rarely touch it on my laptop. Currently playing Rage. Can't wait until I'm done with it already.
More like the Micromanage Box. I wonder how their employees don't go home every night and cry into their Jack Daniels bottle.
I thoroughly like Sony. I've enjoyed their games. However, I'll still play some Halo on Microsoft's Xboxes. But that's about it. I challenge Microsoft to put out some exclusives with imagination so I can have the best of both worlds. No Kinect for me though. It just won't be my style for now.
Hmmm something even the girlfriend might play.
The Last of Us already has that gritty feel of a possibly creeper waiting around any corner unaware his fate will be met with the double tap!!
I really should load up the first one and best it and then get the second. The surplus of games just keep on coming.
I almost wish my current PS3 would just die already so I had an excuse to buy a Super slim model. I'm still rockin' the old fat black girl that's still running smoothly. She's even ghetto enough to have her controllers and glow toys charging in the first slim model charging stand. I thought if I kept on pressing her buttons I would wear her out but she just won't die.
Pre-Ordered! I'm curious if they're considering sequels for PS4. Just watched the video on my razor maxx HD. Very beautiful artwork beyond even that of Uncharted series. I'm assuming a shorter story. I need to take some leave when this comes out.
Are any of these on the PSN store?
I think Sony likes to challenge itself. It's like they're setting up PS4 to compete with its own predecessor. If for some reason a gamer couldn't afford a PS4 and Watch Dogs, then at least they may still be able to get it for their PS3 with an incentive. The decisions this holiday should be explosive. :-)
I'd rather see more "said company confirms" articles.
If this "TV tuner" deal is true and some type of overlay system is displayed, I'm curious if that would need an internet connection to work. And if that's a feature you need to pay through Xbox Live to unlock.
Actually, I think this is just what Sony needs is some better competition. This should put pressure on Sony to increase their support for PS4 and improve support on Vita. This holiday season will be fun and so will 2015!
