To add another note. To purchase a PS4 at $399.99 is going to save you a lot more headache to play Bloodbourne than trying to play Bloodbourne on a PC for $399.99.
Hmmm Uncharted 4 and Project Morpheus out in the same Timeframe?
One thing to think about is by the time Morpheus is out it should pick up sales easily because we're bound to see a price drop on the PS4 before hand. $299 to $350 + Morpheus $199-$299 (hopefully) for a range of $499-$650. Then you compare that with the price of a PC capable of supporting both VR devices and VR games. The price advantage at this point still goes to Sony.
I really don't believe that the XBOX One's lower graphics quality (if you can tell or give a crap about the difference, i personally don't) is what's put the console behind. The PS2 setup the innovation of the Eye Toy. The Eye Two setup the continued effort with the PS3s camera incorporating the PlayStation Move to add to the testing grounds of PS3 after the obvious success of motion control introduced by the Wii. Decent list of games. Bloodbourne for sure along with a few others but did they leave out Final Fantasy type 0 though for sure that's coming out for PS4 in March also.
I've just escaped from the prison the second time of course. Have not beat it yet. I've had such a blast though. Out of 10 the Lycan AI could be better. Only have it on medium now but still have died my fair share if times. -.5 for all that. Story is solid. Pace I think feels fine. Weapons are fun. I can see games like Duke Nukem forever getting reviews as low as the harsh ones that The Order received. 20s,40s, 50s. But then compare the games to each other. Then really ask yourself which one is worth your time.
Think Command and Conquer. Worked just fine for PS1. Should be fun.
I will purchase this game this weekend and experience it for myself. If anything ready at dawn is getting a lot of feedback on how to improve. Right now the metacritic score is being weighted down by 4 harsh scores be they legit or not. Without those it good be in the low 70s at least. Nobodies perfect but I have long since waited for this. Dying Light will have to be paused for the time being.
PS5 might be the console I finally find a reason to purchase a 4k television. For now for my PS4 and PS3 might 1080p 60hz does just fine. I might consider getting a 50 inch or larger with 120 or 240hz just to get that extra added emersion. But a good story comes first priority then gameplay. With my tastes I know The Order won't disappoint.
@brew if your list is true Dying light deserves much better. I'm having so much fun with that game. It's got me motivated to restart and actually finish Dead Island. I personally give Ding Light an 8.5. Bubbles anyway though.
That's pretty damn good for a new IP. Ready at Dawn is just getting their foot in the door. If the game is well received I could see them revealing more cards up their sleeves for a sequel. Looking forward to my experience with The Order.
I actually held onto the original Xbox the longest. Due to Halo, Rally Sport Challenge and the fact that I can burn music discs to it. But the gaming library was in favor of the PS2.

I tried to get this last night after my bro said it was worth the buy. I went to FYE and both GameStops in our town and all sold out (uh for PS4 anyway). ;-) maybe I'll try Walmart soon. Ended up getting God of War Accessions to complete my wife's and I GOW complete play through and The Evil Within. Gaming is Grand.
Some of us do judge a book by its cover. Some of us have done that with The Order. We look at it and just know we are going to either like it or not bother with it. This cover I will judge to like it and play it and then decide if I was satisfied.

If I have a PS4 and log into it on my profile and host a multiplayer game. Can someone log onto the PSTV with their profile and join in on a shareplay session with the game I'm hosting? This is what I would ideally get it for that and something for the kids. I just want to know if it's possible?
