Big time bummer, man. That studio goes from Spec Ops to this? Nothing against dead island, but come on. Breaks my heart when I see devs with that much potential settle for this. Good luck on the game, though.
You have a OG Xbox that you hook up and play?
Unwanted Halo remake? Dude you do know hardcore fans have asked for Halo 2 remake for the last half decade, right?
Also, what was up with the pacing of the Sony conference? They couldn't pick a better time to announce the T.V shows and have the guy pitch it? Plus why wouldn't they just open with Morpheus and PS Now then give the entire show up for games? Overall it was a great show. The Order looked outstanding. The monster looked outrageously great. The gun play LOOKS VASTLY IMPROVED. Bloodborne is gorgeous and I don't really like Little big planet but that demo looked fun.
...
Microsoft showed more games, but it doesn't really matter to me. Overall it was a great day for games and I enjoyed both conferences. I don't see why everything has to be a MS vs Sony thing. Both showed a lot of decent games and both had about the same number of games.
I haven't played an Assassins Creed game since 2, but that trailer they showed at their E3 conference was amazing. Graphics were out of this world, the gameplay was a lot sharper than I remember the other Assassins creeds games being, and the French Revolution is such a interesting piece of history.
They cancelled it years ago.
People will debate Sony vs MS today but Ubisoft just killed E3. Every one of those games besides the fitness game, will be purchased by me on release date. All of them are so unique, creative, original, and look actually next gen. Easily one of the best E3 conferences in the last 5 years. Great games, great devs with personality, a host with some funny commentary, and most of all great mix of new IP and established brands.
The division and Quantum Break are my two most anticipated games shown for next gen. The division is Rainbow 6, Socom, and the last of us mixed together with one of the best game egines I've ever seen. Ubisoft deserves credit for being one of the last big third party publishers that takes risk on IP's. These guys never make the same thing. Even the AC games get shaken up from time to time. Just an amazingly underrated publisher that's not afraid to fund new IP.
The game is obviously in super early development, but I think the pressure is on MS and Cloudgine to make this game good. If this bombs like the second one then the IP is dead for good. Overall from the CGI trailer I love where they're going with it. It's really back to the basics the first one started with.
From the looks of things Mass Effect is a long long ways away. Which surprised the hell out of me.
I think the time to ditch your last gen console is rapidly approaching. Studios are rapidly hiring other devs to simply port these games from next gen. Soon features will be missing forcing people to upgrade.
I keep hearing this complaint, but most of the people I know on next gen consoles have zero problems with the game. Besides that, isn't visceral doing this game and not Dice?
Idk about huge, but I'll definitely keep an eye out for it. I was hoping Platnium would've announced Vanquish 2, but this IP looks good.
The game could be years away for all we know. Maybe they didn't want to show off the gameplay because it wasn't ready. I don't see how this has anything to do with the power of any system. 75 percent of the games you're going to see is going to be CGI.
The game is too early in development to even think about. But the gameplay is going to be insane. If there's one thing Platnium does is gameplay. I can already see the fact that you can ride a creature and go head to head with another creature is fucking insane. It could be a good, but at this point we don't know. I look forward to seeing more at gamescon, TGS or the next E3.
In what way is that like any remaster out there? It's literally a decades worth of games completely remastered from single player all the way down to multiplayer on dedicated servers including a Beta to top it all off. I don't see the use in comparing Remastered content from a year ago to this at all.
Then it's not for you then. When you call getting 4 games plus a beta and a t.v show for 60 bucks a waste a money you come off as a troll.
Madden needs a complete overhaul. The AI is so outdated and the game plays nothing like a true sim. They need to take a year off the series, which they won't because they'd lose 100's of millions of dollars, and rebuild the entire game to make a real sim. I have no clue how the NFL game license works, but I hope 2K or some studio out there can make a true NFL sim. This post is not meant to shit on EA. Making yearly sports games like this is not easy and it takes a lot of work, but...
This to me is like Microsoft taking remedy and making them do a Dead rising game. Or Sony taking Santa Monica or RAD and saying hey go make a Dantes inferno game. There's just games that are below a certain devs level. Yager should be making games on the level of The Division, not a cartoony over-saturated zombie game. I'll play the game, but I feel it's a waste of a talented dev teams time.
