Lol it's not going to be a PC focused game, dude. It will be promoted on consoles and then released on steam like the rest of these games are. Devs show these games on PC to show the highest graphical fidelity to the mainstream media at E3. That's it.

90 percent of the trailers that you see are running on PC's at E3. I have no clue why devs have to confirm this to people. The PC versions are then ported down to the console version, which is where this " downgrade" talk happens.

There's literally been no gameplay of quantum break shown? So why would you compare it to any game?

4381d ago 3 agree5 disagreeView comment

You gotta love people arguing with someone about a game they haven't played yet.

Isn't Jade Raymond the head of the studio that makes these games? So how would she hate her own gender?

Lol repositioning. Cut the bullshit. Sony said the game was made to be a portable console replacement powerhouse. PERIOD. The thing didn't sell and they abandoned bringing AAA games to it. When the core VITA base stops being happy with crap ports and indie titles, then that's when Sony will either scrap it or put money into the building of AAA games.

For one Uncharted is a linear game with next to no open world. It's easier to code that. Two, Massive has to develop 3 games on a schedule, Uncharted does not. Three, you don't know what the resolution that 60FPS is going to be running at nor do you know what trade offs they're using to get to that 60FPS. I assume your comment is saying Massive is inferior to ND or that developing for PC or XB1 hampered their dev capabilities.

It's terrible PR. Those team Ico guys have to be working on something, right? So what have they been doing for 6 years? A game takes 2 to 3 years max to make with a studio that size. I believe Yoshida san on this one.

The rumor I've always heard about the game was that it was damn near finished, but it wasn't that good so they scrapped the entire game, tried to rebuild it and scrapped it again. If Clements saw real footage that means it had to at least be pre alpha.

60 FPS for a shooter should be mandatory. Idk what Massive is doing. You don't need these fancy 1080P resolutions man. Games can look good with 900P if that's what it takes to get it to 60FPS. Cinematic games like tomb raider and Uncharted are good for 30FPS. Not hardcore shooters. I wish this resolution crap would die cause it's messing with how physics are being looked at by devs.

It will come out. You don't spend hundreds of million of dollars on a IP and not put it out. Will it be good? Who knows. But it will definitely come out in the next 2 years. A reveal at TGS is guranteed.

The game will come out. Sony would've announced that it was cancelled by now. I think they will close TGS with it to make the hardcore happy. The thing that scares me is this. Ueda has nothing to do with this game beyond supervising it. That, to me, has me worried as shit. Then you add on the long dev period, ect. Either way I'll be there day 1 if the reviews are good. SOTC is a masterpiece and if the same team is doing it with their division then I can't see how this will be bad....

I can never get into these dragon ball z games. They essentially go over the same story over and over again. This on does look a lot more interesting.

PS Now is a game renting service. No different than Onlive. That can easily be implemented. VR is a fad that has a million other companies in it. And they don't have a portable so why would they do remote play?

4382d ago 9 agree4 disagreeView comment

Another problem with VR is where's the games coming from? Is it going to be all indies and years old ports? Or is it going to be playable with the next Madden or the next bioshock? These are deal breaker questions. How many AAA devs are making them, how many big Publishers are funding games for it, how much does it cost with the camera and the PS4 and the VR. Too many obstacles for me. We've been shown when the software is not there the hardware dies. Ouya, Vita, and Wiiu, being the e...

Makes zero sense to invest in something that's going to be bomb. VR makes zero sense unless you can get the price down so much that you can bundle it in. The tech is getting consumer ready, but the tech is not there yet to make it cheap. This is a fad that's going to cost companies like Sony, Samsung, and Valve billions in R&D. Microsoft needs to focus on building more games and studios and less about these peripherals.

PS4 literally copies everything the 360 did. I see in no way how Microsoft copies them in any sense. The 360 and Xbox original innovated more than any console launched in those periods. Sony and Nintendo were literally years behind the tech and servers microsoft brought into the game at that point.

She did a lot better job this year than last. It is interesting how she's became Ubi's celebrity poster child, though.

Lol at this one guy in here. So if they built a PC with the exact same components in it and ran it at E3. Why not just run it off of a PS4? If you think that footage wasn't ran on a high end PC like all of the other footage, then you're delusional. All of these games are ran off of high end PC's using dev kits. Don't be stupid.

4382d ago 5 agree7 disagreeView comment

Wait, what? If it's being shown at a Sony press conference, most people would think they're showing it on a PS4. Why would anyone think this is on a PC? Lol come on man.
