I just want a bigger word, better graphics, and a worthy improvement over the first. The first one is exceptional and I expect no less from a great dev like playground. The only thing I'm worried about is the framerate. I hope they don't follow other racing devs and go 30FPS. This needs to be 60FPS. I don't care if they have to get the res down to 900P.
Google doesn't have the dev pull that Apple has. Apple has the ability to get third party devs pronto. Google does not.
If there's one company that can pull off what Microsoft did back in the early 2000's and join and succeed in the gaming race it's Apple. They have the money, developer connections, and software and hardware knowledge to be big players. I think if they really wanted to they could make a portable gaming system that could compete with the 3DS and Vita right away.
Molyneux is probably not included because fanboys online who are not educated of his work and his influence on the art of video games would riot online. Molyneux not being on this list is a joke, but people of this generation don't have an ounce of respect for the man or his legacy.
Crash is owned by Activations as well is Spyro. Plus the guys that created Crash left years ago. TBH, IDK if ND has the platforming chops to pull it off. If it were to be made I'd prefer the original ND team to make it or a team that's experienced with platforming games.
The last 2 are masterpieces, but the first one is not that well done. You can get Uncharted 3 for free on PS+ and Uncharted 2 is dirt cheap. I'd recommend getting them if you have a PS3.
I liked TLOU, but I hope they don't deviate from the run and gun fun aspects of Uncharted. I really don't want a serious take on the material. Just keep the run and gun charismatic jokey aspect of the games and improve the graphics and that's it.
I called this on the other thread. Playground is not a big enough dev to do both ports. I expect their version to be the version built from the ground up for XBO and the 360 version being outsourced to a dev that has experience doing HD ports. Respawn essentially did the same thing.
How do you know how much money Microsoft gives Xbox as a division? Why are you trolling for the sake of trolling and pulling stuff out of your ass man?
Yeah for all the shit they get they showed nothing but game after game after game last year and people still shit on them. A lot of that content was exclusives too.
I wonder if this is CGI or in game renderings. Wouldn't shock me considering how great Crytek is with graphics if this was entirely in game. Looks surprisingly good. 2015 is packed with games that hopefully won't get delayed.
Crytek didn't dev HomeFront.
I don't think it will be stagnated at all. I think Playground and Turn 10 will put most of their focus on the XB1 version. They will likely give the port duties to a studio known for porting HD games and the experience will just be different. Playground is not a giant dev, so I don't see them being able to do this game for 2 platforms at once.
It's a racing game that's releasing on vastly more powerful hardware. The XB1 version will be leaps and bounds better in every way from the graphics all the way down to the feel of the cars.
It's also great that Playground is getting to make a sequel. Forza Horizon was simply amazing and that studio is so underrated. Easily jumps up to being one of my most anticipated racers of the year. Hopefully they can get it to 60FPS, though. I'm not a fan of racers running at 30FPS at all. Idc if they have to put it down to 900P.
Microsoft must have the mother load to show at E3. That's 4 huge IP's shown off in the last 3 weeks.
Forza Horizon came out 2 years ago. I'm not so sure what you're talking about.
It's popular to shit on COD on sites like this, but outside of ghosts and a couple other CODs they've all been enjoyable set piece driven games. Black OPs 1 and 2 are far superior to Homefrront on every level.
Interesting that a sequel is being made. The first one pretty much bombed from my understanding.
I liked Shenmue back when I had a OG Xbox, but I don't see it moving enough units for Microsoft to make it exclusive.
