It's fair to compare the value just like with any game put out. I don't think you should compare the games in quality, though. Two entirely different games. I don't classify them in the same class to be honest. One is a like a greatest hits compilation with literally hundreds of hours of gameplay and the other is a remade PS3 game with better graphics and better frame rate.
This Sunset Overdrive, and Forza Horizon 2 is going to keep me hooked for most of the fall and the winter. When does the Halo 5 beta drop again?
Did you read the article?
I don't understand wanting games or game companies for that matter to fail. It's a juvenile thought process that actually hurts the industry. If Destiny fails then the next big budget FPS trying to do the same rich world and lore will not find a light of day. People need to start accepting all things in gaming even if you're not a fan of a particular company because competition breeds convince and innovation for the consumer. At this point with development as high as it is, games ...
Kirby, Pikmin, DK are platformers on a box with a lot of platformers. If I wanna use your same argument with fable there hasn't been a good Metroid in years. You're using a preference argument to try to stat your claims as fact. I can name 20 360 exclusives or exclusives that were exclusive for the first 3 years or so that I played that all offered unique experiences.
I don't understand where this milking crap comes from. There's a few spinoff Halo games that where codeveloped by Bungie and other studios but have nothing to do with the main 4 games. The world is GIGANTIC and is starting to get even bigger and the lore is starting to get even richer through the comics. The fact that this is still an argument after Microsoft has announced as much new AAA IP as any of their competitors and different games is stupid. The core Xbox fanbase want Halo, an...
Halo is easily one the tip 3 IP's in gaming and easily one of the biggest first party games in gaming. Denying that is denying that is denying reality. Halo 3 released soley on the 360 and sold close to 3.5 million copies in a day. Halo 4 did about 250 million in estimated gross in a day. There's not an IP besides maybe Mario that's first party and has the same success.
I didn't like the game at all. The driving sucked, the camera in the game was awful, the graphics sucked. I don't get the acclaim this game gets.
Choujij the nonstop N4G troll. Your comment history is as pathetic as it comes.
Before people disagree with this, this comment was a joke. Calm down.
Nintendo should use this as their way out of the Wiiu. Gives them an excuse to build an entirely different console.
I wonder why big movie studios never get top notch talented indie studios to do these movie video game tie ins. They could make a crap ton of money doing it and building a studio up for pennies on the dollar. Could you imagine what a drinkbox transformers game would look like with a legit AAA budget?
For me Shadow Complex, Limbo, Gucamelee, Hotline Miami, and Fez are the best Indies I personally played last gen. They all combined great gameplay, content, and re-playability in one. Other than that there's a few more that I enjoyed playing but nothing that wowed me.
They're not in any position. This is a BS rumor. Companies on the verge of bankruptcy don't invest in the amount of IP Crytek is investing in. The Ryse statement should've been a huge giveaway since they didn't fund or publish the game outright.
You do know Microsoft licensed them to do an exclusive and funded Ryse, right? If that game lost money then Microsoft would be out of the cash, not Crytek. That's where this article is full of BS from the get go.
You do know Ryse is Microsoft owned and published, right? If it's not getting ported to PC that's MS's decision. And where did they ever bitch about going bankrupted? Your whole argument is made up of BS.
So you wish hundreds of employees to go jobless over something so trivial as that? Do you work for a living? Do you provide for a family or someone that depends on you? It amazes me how people will wish for these companies demise when there's real human beings that could be affected by it.
Crytek is in such deep financial trouble that they're releasing a big budget FPS shooter and have numerous games in development. Makes sense. Until Crytek gives out real hard financials, I'll take this as anything more than a rumor.
I felt Uncharted 3 was better than the first one and better than the TLOU. I thought it was the best written Uncharted game they made and the set pieces were the best of the series. The airplane setpiece, the abduction level, and the boat set piece, and the desert journey are some of the most beautifully excited scenes/ levels in a game I've ever played. I think Uncharted 3 is the most complete game they've ever made. I didn't like it as much as I do now when it came out, but afte...
Sony doesn't have control over the situation. Subscription prices have to be negotiated with third party devs. It costs major amounts of money to pull this off and they can't control the price for it. Michael Pacther explained this beautifully on Pach Attack like 4 months ago. What Sony or for that matter Microsoft should've done from the beginning was make two sku's. One console for less money without backward compatibility and another with backward compatibility for a higher...
