I don't know how you can predict a game of year when that said year hasn't happened yet. 2015 is absolutely stacked with games. I don't see any game being a lock for anything.
I don't have their HR records to know of the applicants resumes, but when there's one website with this problem when the majority of other websites don't seem to have this problem, then, yeah, somethings fishy. I don't see other top websites having problems hiring minority and women journalists. No one is out right calling them bigots or saying they're refusing to hire women or minorities. I'm simply asking a question. Why is it that all of these other websites have di...
If that's the case then why is Giant Bomb the only journalism outlet that has this disparity? Why doesn't Joystiq, Gameinformer, Gamespot, Polygon, and IGN have this same problem? Again I'm talking as an outsider in this case and I don't know for sure if her claims are right or wrong.
The problem, from what I gathered, is that there's no diversity in their hiring process. Ok one guy is more qualified for the job. But when the MAJORITY of your staff is made up of one gender and one race then that's weird and it should be a talking point.
I'm not taking sides in any of this. I'm not in the industry and I don't know the history of this issue. But if Giant Bomb has a history of ONLY employing white males and no women or minorities, then that's bullcrap and should be a talking point. You can't tell me EVERY white male applicant had superior resumes to that of a minority or woman applicant. Again I don't know the situation just going off of what I see from the outside. Also the fact that Giantbomb seems to ...
Btw, has anyone confirmed how long this game is going to be? I mean if it has no co-op or multiplayer the singleplayer should be at least 20 hours long.
I'm sorry, idc how many dislikes I'm going to get, but this game looks AMAZING. Every dev diary they've shown has sold me on it. The only thing I'm iffy on right now is the fact they haven't shown the multiplayer, but damn this is a HUGE improvement over the last 3 or 4 CODs.
The majority of games have one ending so why would an industry that's already been doing this for decades now follow suit? If you're saying games like the witcher 3 that's going to have a ton of different endings depending on how you play the game should switch to one ending then that's stupid. Why should artists water down their vision for anything.
I don't get the appeal of a movie version of this game. What makes uncharted so good is that it's a playable action movie. The movie element makes it unique. As a stand alone movie it's just going to be a typical cliched action movie. To answer the question I think Jake Gyllenhaal would be a good Nathan Drake and I think Bruce Campbell would be a good sully.
Forza, in my opinion, is the best racing sim on the market and has been the best handling sim for the last decade. It's a shame that although they sell pretty good, that they don't move GT or NFS units. I love Polyphony and Criterion but they're not delivering on the same level with their last couple of games.
The internet, where overreacting articles from no name sites come in abundance.
I've never played a fall out game, but isn't it a huge RPG or something like that? How could he have beat it in that short of time?
The best 5 games I've ever played that left me speechless were Shadows of the colossus, Halo 2, Red Dead Redemption, and Super Mario 64, and GTA San Andreas. Those games were so unique and addicting they left me awe struck. RDR might be the best written game I've ever played.
David Cage simply cannot write and that's the downfall of his games. He thinks he's a much better writer than he actually is and he refuses to stop making QTE games that expose his bad writing ability. I've said for years Quantic Dream could become an elite studio if they ditched the QTE formula and just did a straight out gameplay oriented game and ditched David Cage from writing these scripts. Farenheit, Heavy Rain, and Beyond 2 Souls are FILLED with plot holes. Embarrassing amo...
E3 should be a digitized event. Have the third parties show their games and then have MS, SONY, Nintendo just show off their exclusives or exclusive DLC in a 90 minute video package. Afterwards have playable demos of the event up for PS+ and Xbox Live customers to play at home. To me this is better.
In what way was it a failure? It was just launched.
SSM is a good dev, but I really don't like GOW. I was looking forward to their scifi third person shooter. I hope they make multiple IP's and revisit it, because although I can respect GOW, I just don't like hack and slash games.
"There’s something about him that I just find painfully dull, even with all the fan love surrounding him." You never paid attention the Halo lore to understand why MC is like that. If you understand the story and understand what he's been through then you'll understand why he acts the way he does.
Not to be a dick or anything but Troy gets loads more work than Nolan.
You do know there's more to Halo than the video games right? Not only I'd argue he's well developed in the games, but he's even MORE well developed in the comics. I hate when people bring this argument up because they clearly do not understand the lore or don't understand the true meaning of the character.
