They should sell the IP then. Keep the battlefield name and just sell the name bad company to someone.
Yeah, but that's purely multiplayer. And they're not clear on if you can play the game without your friend being online. Family sharing, from my understanding, allows you to play your friends ENTIRE catalog of games for no charge.
Conker would be a waste of time for Rare right now. If they're going to do post kinect projects, Banjo and Perfect Dark should be their priorities. I think if there's fan support MS might just get a studio to do a Conker game, but that's only if enough people bug Phil on twitter for it. But like I said, Banjo and Perfect Dark are priority in my eyes.
I'd much rather do the family sharing thing over the simple borrowing of the game. The way it was laid out to me was that if my friend has Far Cry 4 and I have FH2 I could play far cry 4 as long as I was on his friends list without having to pay for the game. MS and Sony should absolutely bring that feature in. That's a game changing feature.

Phantom Dust isn't some new IP. If you want to know what the gameplay is going to look like go look at the old gameplay vids from the original Xbox. Although, I have a strange suspicion that you're just trolling the article.

All of those franchises, outside of Resident Evil, Madden and maybe COD, have been consistently great or caters to their fanbases. Anyone that can flat out say Mario, Pokemon, Mass Effect, Halo, Assassins Creed, and Guitar hero, especially for its time, were bad games then they're delusional.

I said it when I saw the report that it was bullcrap. Crytek is in no trouble whatsoever. They have numerous expensive IP's in development, F2P market, and an engine they can still improve and sell.

I don't see anything wrong with his argument. Why should I care or argue if one console is stronger than another console? It's meaningless banter. Isn't Uncharted basically a Indiana Jones rip off to begin with? Max Payne, although it's one of my top 5 favorite game series of all time, takes a massive inspiration from old detective movies.
It's a third party content problem. Sony doesn't have a lot of leeway with the pricing. Either they price it low and lose money and lose third party support on the service or price it high and make profit and keep third party support. It's a double edged sword. I keep saying to people watch Michael Pacthers explanation on how the service works and you'll have a better understanding of why Sony can't do it.
How do you know PS4 has the exclusive advantage next year and beyond? This is pure guessing at best. Even if one brand has more exclusives than another brand that doesn't mean those games are better. This is all preference.
