For those people talking about Resistance this Warhawk that... just stop. Those games look like crap and don't even compare to Halo 3 graphically, so what is the point?

It's going to be an amazing experience. I have no doubt that it will be one of the stand out games of the generation for me and lots of other people. The first one is already one of my stand out games this generation. Bioware are true masters of their craft.

Dude, you are talking pure nonsense. It doesn't even make sense to say that characters look "very animated". Did you mean unnatural or unrealistic? In that case I completely disagree. I have seen plenty of videos and the animation is very good. Which is no surprise because the first one had good animation as well.

But anyway, let's not exaggerate. The PS3 is a capable console but it hasn't shown itself to be superior to the 360. A console would have to show consistently better performance across the board to be considered truly superior (i.e. better graphics on a majority of multi-platform games and exclusives).

Well ok, but before the PS3 fans turn around again and try to bash the 360 for multiple discs consider these things:
1. There are far more PS3 games that require mandatory installs than there are multi-disc games on the 360.
2. Switching a disc takes only seconds, while waiting for a mandatory install takes minutes.
3. Mandatory installs eat up your hard drive space. Multiple discs sit in their case and don't really affect you except when you have to...
I played Mass Effect without installing it (which wasn't an option at the time) and it ran fine. A few minor technical issues here and there (none of which would be solved by installing it anyway), but nothing that was too distracting.

Only one problem with that little theory of yours: the 360 version looked better.
Nothing on the PS3 in 2010 looks like GOTY material. If The Last Guardian comes out this year it very well could be GOTY material, but I don't see anything else on the PS3 equal to the caliber of Uncharted 2 or the stellar lineup of games on the 360 this year.

They look pretty nice. The character models are well done. Kratos looks really detailed (except for those chains on his arms, which don't look real). But honestly guys, in terms of the environments and overall graphical detail, you can't seriously tell me this looks as good as Uncharted 2. It doesn't. Not really even that close, in my opinion.
Edit: Oh, and people trying to bring up Halo Reach, don't even go there. First of all this is about GOW3 and not about Halo Reach....

But the point still stands that the 360 was 6 million ahead when the PS3 launched and it is still more than 6 million consoles ahead.
