I do get the point of the article. I know this generation's consoles in general definitely seem to be more prone to problems. I know lots of people that have had their 360s and PS3s die on them.
My personal experience is a little different. Last generation I had two PS2s die on me but my Gamecube and Xbox never had any problems. This generation luckily I haven't had a problem with my 360 or my PS3.

What in the world are you talking about? Last year wasn't the 360's best year, but it wasn't bad. I still had plenty of games I bought for my 360 last year. The years before that the 360 was unmatched in my opinion and this year the 360 also has a more interesting lineup in my opinion. The 360 also still has a library far larger than the PS3. So quit hating. Mass Effect 2 is just one more fantastic game to add to the 360's library.
Except the PC doesn't really compete against with another computer platform. The Mac platfrom has a few games, but not enough to be any real competition to the PC. On the other hand the PS3 and 360 are primary competitors in the console market and when one game is on one console and not the other it makes a big difference in the competition between the two platforms.

All I know is that Mass Effect is one of the best games in my collection and Mass Effect 2 will probably be one of my favorite games of all time. I can't wait.
I loved Uncharted 2, but I personally think I will probably be an even bigger fan of Mass Effect 2. That is just my personal opinion, I am not saying anybody has to agree with me.

It is a matter of opinion. But for those of you that think reviews are everything, you should realize that Mass Effect 2 has a very good chance of having higher overall scores than Demon's Souls.
As much of a fan as I am of Mass Effect, I have to admit that it is too early to say for sure which game critics will tend to choose as GOTY. Ultimately, though, it doesn't matter. Reviews are opinions. GOTY selections are opinions. What really matters to you is your opinion.

Yeah right. Resistance 2 was a graphical disappointment. I remember some reviewers saying that some of the textures looked almost like PS2 quality textures. Halo 3 already looks better than Resistance 2, so there is no doubt that Halo Reach will look much better.
Wrong. People are comparing an unfinished Halo Reach against games that have already been released and it still beats them. The textures are better, the character models look better, and the lighting is also amazing.
It doesn't matter. Halo 3 was already a nice looking game and the engine has been so drastically overhauled that it is really a completely different engine. The results speak for themselves.

It is easy to see in the screen shots that Halo Reach looks better than Killzone 2 in many ways. Not to mention that Halo Reach will have bigger scale and 4 player co-op.
I have Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 and they are very nice looking games, but I guess I can't say I am as impressed as you. To me they don't look like anything the 360 couldn't do.

Where is the proof for the reliability rates of any of the consoles? There are no RELIABLE sources. We simply don't know what the actual failure rates for any of the three consoles are.
