Agent won't stay an exclusive, I bet you anything. Unless Sony pays a huge sum of money for it.
Once again PS3 fanboys show what they are made of. Liars and thieves.
Yep, Halo Reach is going to be a beast.
There is no way Modern Warfare 2 looks better. The textures and lighting are both superior in Halo Reach.

Yeah, I want to see it in motion too. I mean, the VGA trailer was confirmed to be completely in-engine (with only extra anti-aliasing added) and that looked amazing, but I want to see some actual gameplay.
I just watched that trailer again and it still amazes me.

Looks awesome. I really like this screenshot http://www.bungie.net/image...
A lot more dynamic lights are being used and I think that will really add to the atmosphere.
I'll tell you one thing, you need to get a new pair of glasses.
Halo Reach blows away Killzone 2 in many ways.

Killzone 2 http://ps3.ign.com/dor/obje...
To the 3 PS3 fanboys above me, give it up. You guys are a joke.
When Killzone 2 uses a crap load of particle and atmospheric effects you guys say it is because the graphics are more advanced and that it looks good, but when Halo Reach implements similar kinds of particle and atmospheric effects you guys try to claim that it is because it is there to cover up the fact that it can't render long distances. lol, you guys are unbelievable.
For one thing, I look at tho...
You are right, it IS pointless arguing with somebody that is blind. I'd like to see an example of what you think are good textures. Show us a shooter that you think has great textures.
Please don't tell me you are one of those people who think this http://ps3.ign.com/dor/obje... is an example of good textures.
Wow the Halo games have won a ton of awards. I doubt Halo Reach will be any different. The graphics are looking outstanding and I know that Bungie will pull through on the gameplay. The music is sure to be amazing as well. Halo is such a standout franchise for me.
It's not that impressive. It looks like Indigo Prophecy on next gen consoles. I guarantee it would look just as good or better on the 360.
Look at this video of Indigo Prophecy and you will see how good they were able to make it look on the PS2 last generation. http://www.youtube.com/watc...
When you compare it to Indigo Prophecy you realize that Heavy Rain looks exactly like what we would e...
I loved Shenmue and I will probably love this.
But I still think Alan Wake looks better graphically.
I think this game is going to be great, and there is really no need to bash 360 owners. Most of the people on my 360 friends list play a wide variety of different types of games. My personal favorite type of game are RPGs.
I had a couple criticisms only where I think PS3 fans overstated certain aspects of the game, but I think the game as a whole will be a great experience.
Nah, I think the graphics are pretty nice overall. The textures and lighting are decent and they are put to good use. The artist are very good and they were able to create a nice look for the game. I agree that the graphics have been overhyped to a large degree, but they are nice nevertheless.
It is really no surprise when you consider the nice look that Quantic Dream was able to create for Indigo Prophecy on the PS2 and Xbox. From a technical perspective it wasn't really pus...
It looks really nice and I am sure it is going to be a great experience, but people really need to stop acting like this is so innovative.
If you have played Indigo Prophecy you can see that it is almost exactly the same thing, just refined like all sequels are (spiritual successor, in this case).
Morever, it really isn't that different than Shenmue that I played back on the Dreamcast 10 years ago. In all honesty I think the mixture of the different types of gamepla...
Not only an older generation GPU, but the Bluray drive is so slow that many developers have to implement mandatory installations for their games just so that they load and perform at an acceptable speed.
I have both consoles and I am far more annoyed by forced installations on the PS3 than I am with the occasional necessary disc change on the 360.
It's a joke.
Mandatory installations are far more offensive and time consuming than switching a disc.
And on top of that, there are a lot more PS3 games that require mandatory installations than there are 360 games that require multiple discs.
I have over 30 games for my 360 and Mass Effect 2 is the first game that I will own that has more than one disc.
On the other hand I only own 8 PS3 games and 3 of them require mandatory installations. On...
The fact that PS3 fanboys complain about switching discs on a couple of games probably means that they are all a bunch of fat slobs too lazy to even get off the couch.
They are like those grotesque humans in Wall-e that have machines that carry them around and do everything for them. "what? You mean I have to get up off the couch after 10 hours of playing the game and I can't just sit on my @ss for the entire 30+ hours that the game lasts? No way! I can't do that! I w...
Great post, ReBurn.
You are absolutely right, it is essentially a non-issue. It seems most of the people complaining about it are people who don't like the console in the first place.
I can tell you for a fact that I will not finish Mass Effect 2 in one sitting. Hell, I don't think I will finish it in 6 sittings. I wish I could, but I am an adult with plenty of other interests and responsibilities. I will be switching out the Mass Effect 2 discs anyway when I wan...
It's pitiful the excuses and spin that ps3 fanboys come up with.
If I just slept with Jessica Alba and you finally get to sleep with her next week, I can just see the ps3 fanboy spinning it by saying "oh yeah I might be getting sloppy seconds, but you beta tested her for me", lol. It sounds so stupid, like you are reaching and trying to put a positive spin on something that is in fact a negative.
The 'beta testing' talk makes no sense in the example I gave above ...
