you are right, the graphics are way underrated. well in reality it is mostly the fanboys of the "other console" who try to play down its graphics.
I bet if people didn't know better they would be trying to say that this http://www.videogameszone.d... is a bullshot, but we know it isn't because it is from the section they demoed at E3. So I think it is possible that some people might be wrong about some of the other screen shots too.
No matter how well Kinect does or does not do I am sure there will be 360s sold for the next 5 years at least. The 360 has been very successful this generation and Microsoft has made it clear that they intend to sell the 360 along side the next Xbox. The 360 will have a long life.
If you think MS will abandon the gaming business you are completely out of touch with reality.
The 360 has a 5 million console lead on the PS3 and that lead is currently growing. The 360 has done very well this generation and will continue to do well for the remainder of the generation and beyond. After the next Xbox comes out the 360 will still be sold along side it.
But I'm sure your jaw dropped when you saw Killzone 3 right? LOL
Even though it looks exactly like Killzone 2.
Speaking of water, the water in Killzone 2 looked horrible. It didn't look realistic at all.
Rage topped the nominations for the E3 2010 Game Critics Awards, grabbing five nominations, so it definitely got people's attention. Quit hating on it just because it beats Killzone 3 in the graphics department. Who knows? Maybe Killz...
So what, Alan Wake is an amazing looking game. PS3 fanboys trolling about the subHD doesn't change that.
Killzone 3 is pre alpha, but so is Rage. Who cares? Neither one is going to change that drastically between now and when they come out. The fact is, it's easy to see that Rage is right up there with Killzone 3 if not surpassing it and it also runs at double the frame rate.
You're an immature little twat. You're the one that isn't a gamer, you're a brand whore.
The 360 has a hugely diverse catalog of titles. I have enjoyed my 360 more than any other console and I couldn't care less what a brain dead Sony zombie like you thinks about it.
Currently I would pick the 360 too. I haven't enjoyed any other console more than the 360.
bereaver, you are an idiot. A console is the sum total of the gaming experiences that it offers gamers. Online services, console features and games are all examples of things that define the kinds of gaming experiences we have on our consoles.
By those standards the 360 has been an excellent console.
Kind of like MAG and Mod Nation Racers, right.
Seems like a pretty good game. I had a lot of fun with the first one and I think this one could be fun as well.
The 360 is a gamer's console. I really despise the way some of you speak your opinions as if they were facts.
Most of the games I want to play are on the 360. The online service I prefer is Xbox Live. The controller I prefer is the 360's controller. The user interface I like best is the 360's interface. So how is the 360 not a gamer's console?
I have no problem if you prefer the PS3, I myself like some of its games. What bothers me is ...
Whatever, dude. Have you even seen Rage? It definitely looks better than any exclusive on PS3. http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Hell, even Gears of War 3 is looking like it probably surpasses Uncharted 2.
Wow, that video looked insane. It positively dripped with atmosphere. I loved how the ghost clan can jump over objects and flip off the walls and stuff. Oh and did you notice how when a bullet hit that pipe on the wall at about the 1:30 minute marker it started spraying water?
After watching that video there is no doubt in my mind, Rage is definitely the best looking game on consoles. And that runs at 60FPS? Insane.
He never said that they are holding one version back. If you read the article you would know that he merely acknowledged that they are having a harder time getting the PS3 version up to 60 fps and that the PS3 version can do texture fetching a little faster which might give it an advantage in that area.
Basically what he said is exactly opposite from what you are saying. They are building to the strengths of each console. I mean, they have goals that they want to achieve f...
Why is it always PS3 fanboys that say everybody they know has had RROD? There couldn't be a reason why those fanboys claim that right?
Why is it that I, as a hardcore gamer with a huge network of friends with Xbox 360s, hasn't seen the same thing? I have friends who have had their 360s die on them, but most have not. Especially the ones who have bought 360s in the past 2 years.
All solid evidence points to the fact that the RROD was mainly a proble...
What nonsense. That was an informal poll done by Gamepro, which by the way also showed the PS3 to have a failure rate way above acceptable failure rates.
So if you are latching onto that ridiculous poll then you are implicitly admitting that the PS3 also has unacceptable levels of hardware failure (and no extended warranty to deal with it). Do you really want to go down that route?
Get real. The failure rate was never that high.
I think you are lying, jjohan35.
Like el zorro said if everybody has really bought two 360s like you claim then that would mean that 360 owners buy games at about twice the rate pS3 owners do.
The games sales really don't jive with what you PS3 fantards are always saying. It doesn't make a damn bit of sense.
You know how silly that sounds. It's like saying "I don't know if I can get back into Killzone again because Killzone 2 kind of killed it for me".
What I mean is that both Halo 3 and Killzone 2 were well received games with great critical reception, so if you didn't like those games then you probably just aren't going to like any games in the series.
On the other hand if you did like past Halo games then why would not favoring one game in ...
it's amazing that he can't wait until september or the game is amazing? just kidding, i know what you meant and i agree, it is amazing.
