Exactly! They are in pure denial with there strategys and with there logic. They still think a handheld console will dominate in a world of ipads and smartphones which is nuts. Then wonder why they dont sell as well as previous generations. Imagin if Nintendo released mario and Pokemon on ios and android? I bet they would make a LOT more money than releasing there own consoles and releasing the game on there.

Of course people are gonna say the demos not gonna be like the full game as the general feeling I'm getting from people who play the demo is negative. I don't know anybody personally who's played the demo who is buying this game. In fact I don't know anybody who is buying this game for any system.. The demo got slated on a lot of sites too for being buggy and not that great.
Indeed the amount of crappy football rumours people take as truth I hear is insane.. I would love to See PS4 in June and hell its possible but its doubtful. It would really annoy the crap out of MS though if they did.. It may explain why GTA was delayed as they could have told Rockstar its launching in June so rockstar delayed to game to make a PS4 version. Imagine if GTA was an exclusive (nex gen) to ps4? That would be huge for Sony and releasing early would possibly net that.
I'm honestly shocked LEGO didn't try to sue him for Minecraft in the end. I'm aware its not exactly LEGO but in this day and age where everybody sues everybody for looking remotely similar.. I guess its because LEGO is not a US company..

No its not I think you got the wrong idea of what it is. This is not virtual reality its a lighting effect in your room. It's a nice idea but does it add that much to your games? Exactly with all the on disc DLC crap they been doing lately.. The only people who can stop them doing this kind of crap is US the gamers. By not buying there games. Eventually lack of sales will force there hand and stop them ripping off the consumer but while people pay they will continue to rip people off. Also known as the XBL effect.
Im telling you Versus is a PS4 launch title thats why its been delayed so long as they couldnt get what they wanted out of ps3.

Im sorry but that's just silly SEGA was to blame for dreamcast demise not Sony a great console will do well despite competition and its faults the 360 this generation proved it. I mean look at it, it survived RROD, Old technology in sticking in DVD, terrible sales in Japan and it had Sony at its heels. Just as SEGA did and it survived nicely because it was well supported and MS believed in it.
Although MS only just beats Sony on first party some of them make only Arcade games and are engineering teams who work on apps and XBL (5 teams to be exact work only on XBL stuff like Skype and XBL). On top of that Sony has a ton of second party studios.
Then we go onto quality not quantity of first party. Although MS has a few top quality 1st party studios in turn 10, lionhead and 343 they lack the amount of quality studios Sony does. Sony hardly has a weak studio that nobo...
The sad fact is one of them at least will be Kinect based I reckon the others will be Halo, Forza and eith another Kinect title (making it 2) or a new IP perhaps.

Guess work purely on the euro launch. Because the ps3 launched later in EU they are thinking this will which wont happen. The reason the PS3 launched so much later in the EU is because of lack of blu-ray diodes nothing more. Nothing to do with factories. Also it uses PC tech which is manufactured in EU also so should be easily available to produce in the EU. I can see early Japan launch but cannot see EU coming 2014 and Japan and US coming 2013.

I think this is because they want to launch it near the nex-gen release too. Which I genuinely believe there making. Do you seriously believe they would release on this close to the launch of new consoles and expect maximum sales? Rockstar are all about MAXIMUM sales. If they sold early in year and said they would be making a nex-gen version aswell people may just hold off and thats a lot of months of lost capital for rockstar.

Well if its a PS4 announcement then sure MS would "win" E3 2013? As they would announce there console there where as Sony would just be showing games. Even if Sonys lineup would blow MS away. Ms would have there new console, and we all KNOW how important "winning" E3 is to some people on here :p.

PGR is dead in the water and it would be suicide to launch with Forza. Killer Instinct I doubt will ever happen and Ryse is current gen isnt it? Alan Wake would be a long shot as it sold quite bad (even though it was a decent game) on a console that had sold over 50 million at the time. You think they could release a sequel to a console that will sell a few million at launch and do better? That would really hurt Remedy..
I think we may see a Forza, A halo spinoff until Halo 5...
A fad means its a fleeting idea and it will pass by and nobody cares so no in 2004 it wasnt a fad it may not have been a big hit like it is now in 2004 but it certainly wasnt a fad! People thought 3d was a fad and it may still turn out to be.
