I don't think what happened to Sega will happen to Nintendo.
I think Square Enix wasted a lot of money and resources this gen on Final Fantasy XIII sequels, nobody asked for them yet Square keeps pumping them out. Really all Square has to do is listen to the people who are buying their products, we keep asking for FF Versus, A new console version of Kingdom Hearts, and A new Chrono Trigger but instead we keep getting Lightning.
Always online will just be another barrier to an already restrictive system. Also how does always online benefit the consumer? Ms says its for the system to seamlessly update without disturbing the user but yet the PS4 will be accomplishing the same thing without an always on connection, so to me that's just an excuse.
ugh this game is turning into the equivalent of Bioshock 2
You're paying for ads
You're paying for p2p multiplayer that's on the disc
You're paying to use free apps
You're paying for communication
You're paying to view free websites
You're paying to access your already paid for subs
I'f you don't see whats wrong with this then there's something wrong with you. Also don't even compare PS+ to Microsoft's ...
It may not change anything but it shows that Nintendo does not have a lot of confidence in their system.
Would be a waste of resources as the next Xbox will be heavily integrated with western social and entertainment services that the Japanese are not into. Also Japanese consumers are not as gullible as US consumers they won't fall for all the extra fee's that inevitably come with owning an MS product.
Drop the price of the Wii U to $200, rebrand, and relaunch it.
I liked the first Lost Planet, the mechs where pretty cool it kinda reminded me of Gundam.
The original dev team Rocksteady isn't making this game, inclusion of racing elements, and now tacked on MP. Ok this game is officially off my radar.
We really need a new dinosaur game, i'm getting tired killing zombies.
To be honest i'm surprised it hasn't happened already
I really hope developers ignore MS's parity policy next gen.
I know this is off topic but did anybody else think BO2 was boring? I couldn't get into it at all for some reason, (sigh) I think I've reached my limit with these games.
@Belking
"If this GPU is pre-GCN with a serious performance gap to PS4, then this next Xbox will act like a boat anchor, dragging down the min-spec target for cross-platform next-generation games."
Belking did you even read the article? He's referring to the next Xbox as an anchor.
What? Rocksteady isn't making this game? I hope this wont turn into a Bioshock 2 situation.
They should just name it "DRMBOX"
Nintendo should at least try to rebrand the system, this way the general public (casuals) wont confuse it for some sort of wii peripheral.
I just saw the new commercial for Battlefield 4 and i'm sorry but it looks terrible, EA definitely went the COD route with BF4.
This game would have been epic if they would have added the entire Justice League
