I honestly would rather see the gaming industry crash then to support this kind of anti consumer, doctrine, spyware, DRM, corporate greed. If this console is a success, it just shows that we as people are fine with are freedoms being taken away little by little just for a bit of entertainment. I mean where will it end? Other companies outside the gaming industry are sure to notice this and follow suite as well.
I just hope Sony does the right thing by choosing to support the consumer instead of the publishers and ill do my part by not buying any games that require internet connection or DRM.

So basically everything is totally up to the publishers, you have no control over what you do with your copy of the game. Also this contradicts that there wont be a used game fee, maybe MS might not charge you a fee but 3rd party publishers still can.

Your wrong, Microsoft wants this to happen just as much as the Publishers. Why else would MS incorporate such anti consumer features directly into the Xbox One making it an essential part of the system to operate. The sad truth is that they are all doing this out of greed and nothing more. MS could care less about saving the gaming industry, that's why they are trying to target the Apple/tv watching crowd with Xbox ONE.

The used game market contributes only a fraction to why Studios are being shut, publishers tend to ruin successful franchises on their own by simply being too greedy and catering to the casual cell phone app playing market.
