The former Sony figurehead insisted that the Xbox One system is "exactly the same as owning a physical disc", adding that it's "just the method of distributing the 'bits' [that] slightly changes".

In what why is it the same? The disc is useless once installed, the game will be tied to the one account, and you cant lend or resell the game unless you give that person your account or they pay a huge fee.

@PigPen

We don't even know anything about those exclusives, they could all very well be Kinect kiddy games and DLC because MS didnt show them or even mention thier names.

@whoyouwit04

where are those 15 exclusives? If indeed they were in production like they said, why didnt MS show some gameplay or at least some CGI bullcrap like they did thruoghout the whole confrince. I'll to you why because its not entirely true anybody can throw numbers out but without the proof its only a rumor. Also how many of those exclusives are actully AAA games and not stupid Kinect shovelware.

CGI cut scenes are the future of sports games?

@Shazz

Spot on, buble for you sir

A lot of the rumors where pretty much spot on:

used game blocking (confirmed)

always on Kinect (confirmed)

DRM (confirmed)

Always on line (partially true)

No backwards compatibility (confirmed)

Focus on TV and apps rather than games (confirmed)

Also what I found odd about the conference is that not once did MS discuss Xbox one's hardware like they were trying to hide it. ...

@Software_Lover

Funny because I don't remember Sony saying anything about you having to pay a fee to play used games or the fact that the game will be tied solely to one account and will be unable to use it on another even if the account is on the same system.

Nothing but CGI cut scenes and DVR features, that's all they showed.

Agreed, this is getting creepy

Looks ugly like a big DVR

Kinect rumor officially confirmed to be TRUE.

What innovation? All I saw was a bunch of borrowed mechanics from other successful games and a tiny bump in graphics, If that's what Activision calls innovation then COD is in trouble next gen.

4653d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

I honestly didn't see a big difference, just some guys hairy arms and environments look a little better.

I think I saw Forza and something called Quantam Break.

@inmyfinalhour

Its funny how you say "regurgitating the baseless negativity surrounding COD", yet COD is a regurgitation of itself wouldn't you agree. A little piece of advice you should really understand an issue from both sides before making "baseless" accusations.

I have to agree with Root, COD is more of a social trend and will eventually die out when the casuals lose interest in it like they did with guitar hero. Where as Mario & Zelda can go on for ages because they are the mascots of gaming.

Because if the rumors are to be believed that the system wont work without Kinect then its not really an option is it.

I for one enjoyed Ascension I thought it was a solid entry to the franchise, a little short but still good.
