I think GameStop are just as clueless as everyone else. If high up executives at Microsoft don't know for sure what the plan is then you know GameStop doesn't know anything.
Yes but its physical media because it on a disc so wouldn't you still have the right to play the game without being charged an extra fee? Also what exactly are the rights of the person who owns the system? If I'm not mistaken the supreme court ruled that any device that is purchased belongs to the buyer and that he or she has the right to do whatever they want with it even hack it or mod it.
He didnt clear up anything all he said was "it does support used games but we don't want to say how it does it". Here i want to clear something up too, my car can fly but i don't want to show anybody how.
I hope they clear everything up at E3
I know it would be like putting the PS brand in the hands of Activision or EA.
If you want to get the word out to the casuals really all you have to do is spam facebook, twitter, and youtube. Also tell everyone you know, word of mouth can be very effective.
This thing seems more like a surveillance system then a gaming console or even a DVR
Xbox $1 because thats how much its worth
By this logic then the Wii U will have the best looking games in the living room.
Its like the only positive thing about Xbox One is the controller.
MS should just get out of the console business seriously
@Rusty515
hahaha oh man thats a good one ^_^
Because it destroys everything that makes a console a console, because it blocks used games, because it has to connect every 24 hours or it turns into a brick, because you are forced to use a peripheral, because it still makes you pay to play online, take your pick.
i'm not going to takes sides but i'm very dissapointed in the direction MS is taking with the Xbox brand.
I know i'm a big fan of the Xbox controller too but you'll get used to using the dualshock and to be honest its not such a bad controller.
@alb1899
I'm sorry that you you don't like hearing the truth and would rather live in ignorance.
@theEx1Le
Agreed but i'm a console gamer not a PC gamer i want my console to function like a console if it doesint then whats the point i might as well buy a Gaming PC.
This thing is a disaster, its so anti consumer that only the most hardcore of MS fanboys will buy this thing (i'm looking at you Jek_Porkins). I'm glad that the press has finally opened their eyes to the truth and not beleiving MS's corporate propaganda.
"Let me clear that up unequivocally. Xbox One will support the reselling and used game market for Xbox One games. We have not announced details about exactly how it's going to work, or how licenses are going to be exchanged. That's all coming up later in the year."
So you are but don't want to say how, that is indeed unequivocally clear thanks clrearing that up MS. ?_?
It means i'm not buying an Xbox One
Really all Sony has to do is come out and say we are not blocking used games with a fee and they will win the next gen battle.
