You're retarded, i know a lot of people who have xbox's that don't have internet access and i live in downtown SD California, they rather just use their phones to access their social media or they just don't care about online gaming thus have no need to pay for a isp. I even have a friend who has never updated his xbox so he still uses the old 360 dashboard ^_^

You don't get it, its not about DRM well it is but also its about giving the consumer more options to access their media. Microsoft is notorious for restricting, limiting and controlling their products, the xbox 360 for example:
1. not being able to play your downloaded media on other consoles without licencing transfers.
2. Forced subscriptions
3. pay to play p2p
4. forced online connection to play videos from a usb
5. forced updates by re...
You know what the sad part is it's that Microsoft doesn't give two shits about Gamestop even though GS pushes the Xbox brand a lot more than PlayStation. I personally never understood why GS prefers Xbox over PS and now the irony is MS is looking to lock out used games whereas Sony is going to continue to allow it.
Even though COD has been mediocre garbage for the past 3 years, i'm still a fan and i'm still waiting for it to return to it's roots (COD4) but the longer i wait the more it seems that it will never happen.

i know this is premature but i want to take this importunity to formally congratulate EA, its well deserved.
Sony is just making all the right moves with the PS4, its almost as if they took a list of everything we as gamers wanted in a system and are checking things off one by one.
Maybe its because they have nothing to slow it down with. I think the PS4 really took MS by surprise and now they are scrambling at MSHQ to figure something out, possibly even a redesign of the console itself maybe adding in more ram and such idk but whatever MS is doing they are being very quite about it. Also if any of those rumors are true its going to be a hard sell for MS as nobody is going to want a system with so many restrictions.
your missing the point, its not that those features you listed are bad its that MSFT isn't giving you a choice just like the way they force their customers to pay to play online. I should be able to play offline if i want too or disconnect kinect because i don't feel comfortable having a camera watch me 24/7. I really think Nintendo should ditch the name Wii U, in fact they should just scrap the system and start again. The whole "weak tech/crazy gimmick" thing isn't going to work this time like it did with the wii.
in 10 years i don't think any of these company's are going to be around anyways but as long as Sony exists i will continue to support them as a gamer.
To be honest i think some of these reviewers are not even real gamers or they never bothered playing the older games in order to compare the original source materiel to the new stuff to make a fair comparison.
You know what the real problem is its that people don't care if they get taken advantage of. I just told my brother everything ms might plan to do with the next xbox and you know what his response was: "i don't care cuz all my friends are buying it".
