Yes console gaming is getting bigger. But go to the pirate bay or any other torrent site and I can guarantee you there will be plenty of Xbox 360, Wii and PC games for download. Often times the Xbox 360 version of a game will leak out several days or even a week before the game hits retail.

If you don't think there are pirates and cheaters on Xbox 360, you need your brain checked. There are now just as many torrents available for Xbox 360 games as there are PC games. The only console that doesn't currently have any pirates and hackers is the PS3 but now that the exploit by Geohot is out, that is soon about to change. Welcome to reality where PC leads the way in everything... even the bad things.
Don't get me wrong. SecuROM was horrible on Bioshock and Spore but these days its not so much an issue. Just uninstall the game and it automatically uninstalls SecuROM.
I for one hope this game is very secure because hackers on Battlefield just plain suck. I remember on BF2 me and my whole 32 player team were getting aimbotted by 1 jackass that ruined the whole round for everyone. Hackers can go #*$% themselves.
PS3 is just going to win period. Sony is on the road to domination once more after one hell of a 4th quarter 2009. Bend over 360, here comes the pwnage.

I never played the first BFBC because I usually only play FPS games on PC and BFBC was never released on PC. The PS3 beta was the most fun I've ever had on an FPS and speaking from someone who never plays console FPS games, that's quite a compliment.
When the PC beta starts on Jan 28th, try it for yourself. I guarantee you, you will be impressed.
I think we can expect Starcraft II no earlier than 2012. If we're lucky.
Blizzard will split each game into 2 or 3 separate "micro" games and charge $10 a piece and then $10 a month for access to Battle.net 2.0 to play the multiplayer portion. And don't forget, absolutely NO LAN play you pirating sons of b!tches!!!

I'd love to have an Xbox 360 this year but thanks to Microsoft, I no longer do. The Red Ring of Fail hit my console last year and it was out of warranty.
I think I'm starting to notice a pattern here... I bought my original Xbox in 2002 and had it for 3 years before Microsoft dropped support for the console in favor of the new Xbox 360. After trading up to the 360, I only got another 3 years with it before the RRoD hit it.
But on Sony's side, my PS1, PS2 and launch...

ME2 will own in January but in March, Kratos will do unspeakable things we don't even have words for. The pwnage shall be historic and shortly thereafter GT5 will clean up the bloody left overs. And then take into account Bad Co. 2, FFXIII and Heavy Rain.
Best 1st quarter in gaming history.
Kratos will destroy 2010. GT5 and FFXIII will pick up the left overs. Mass Effect 2 and Splinter Cell Conviction will be far better on the PC so there goes a large chunk of the 360's momentum right there. And Halo is sooooo 2001. Fable III might surprise and so might Crackdown 2. But speaking realistically, 2010 belongs to Kratos and Sony.
Considering how bad the last numbered Final Fantasy was, this was to be expected. XII was so awful I'm surprised they even released it. It was like an MMO but it wasn't online. And the story was almost nonexistent. Now having said that, I will most definitely pick up XIII once some reviews (from places I trust) come in.
