The black makes me think it may just be Catwoman. There are a few other DC females who spring to mind too, though (and yes, I know the black is the background, but stylistically speaking.)
DLC based on the fan wishes, then? Hm.
The first three games weren't great. Which is a shame, as I think there's potential here. I don't have high hopes, but... well, I'd like to be surprised.
Niiice. Getting a League of Extraordinary Gentlemen vibe off that.
Come to think of it, Max Payne is a pretty good comparison for them to make. In much the same way, we had absolutely no info on that for ages and it started popping up on vapourware lists before there was the big reveal and media blitz just prior to release, with a lot of stuff (as the post said) changed.
Are these changes late in the day, though? Bear in mind we haven't really heard anything about Alan Wake in a long, long time - E3 was the first "reveal" we've had on it for what seems like years. This might've been in the works for awhile.
Um... 'coz open betas are often considered demos by a large portion of people. Making sure it's actually reasonably polished before the hordes descend and go "IT DOESN'T WORK RIGHT, THIS IS RUBBISH" and then refuse to buy the full version tends to be a good idea.
Or are you referring to them extending the closed beta hours? :p If so, I agree :p
Aaaahahahaha. I love how that video basically puts events into an in-game context. "We thought we were prepared," etc.
I tend to ignore a lot of multiplayer due to the hat-wearers that tend to appear on Xbox Live, but I might give this a whirl when I pick the game up.
That's my evening gone, then.
That's actually an interesting thought. While I doubt you'd ever see, say, a dragon <class>, if you made it so that the race could only be one class and tied the new powers into the growth of the dragon, with the talents providing different varieties...
Not that it'll ever happen, but it's another "twist" on generic classes.
Interesting thoughts. I suspect a fair few players will mirror them, but many more will just tell them to "lol stfu qq more."
I don't see it as that much of a problem, but I imagine I will if my friends and guildmates start changing faction and I'll suddenly have to if I want to continue playing with them.
Hah! That's a rather awesome roundup. Ah, the history of D3... :)
I dunno. Hopefully they've taken some of the criticisms of Dead to Rights onboard, but I find it kinda hard to understand why this is getting another game when other, better franchises languish.
Happy to see Layton is still in there. The more people play that, the better.
Except they need to get Half-Life 2: Episode 3 out first.
This actually sounds rather good. Wasn't too hyped about this before, but... well, I could do with a decent shooter.
I suppose it was only a matter of time, but still: what.
I remain intrigued by this. Seems like the sort of thing that could be a laugh with a few friends, or the parents.
Glad the LucasArts stuff got a mention. The more people know about that, the better.
