But nothing announced for the UK? Oh well. Some of those packs look cool, but I imagine that - all things being equal - the ones with Early Start will sell a hell of a lot more if people know about all the deals going on.
At long last! But does anyone still care enough? The hype for this has died down a lot since the PS3 release.
Oh God.
Polite and nicely worded. I reckon he's right, though - there's enough time between the two that they're not going to hugely impact each other. I reckon Champions might see a drop in subscribers when Marvel comes out, but it may only temporary, in much the same way as WoW loses players for awhile whenever a new MMO comes out.
A whole new one? Hrm. That's fairly interesting, assuming that it really isn't just a heavily localised version of the older UO releases, which it certainly doesn't sound like.
Oh good grief. Really?
Ooooh. I'm *sure* I've said this before, but the more I see, the more I want it...
Sounds like pretty good fun. I might have to give this a whirl this weekend, while it remains free.
Doesn't bother me if they're appropriate. Seeing a Coke machine in a hallway is fine, but seeing Sam Fisher chewing on prominently placed Airwaves packets that are far brighter and more noticeable than everything else in the scene is just wrong.
Makes sense to me. Fun as natural disasters in city builders can be, this seems the sort of thing that'd get really annoying in anything in which it took a much longer period of time to build it up.
Well, the character creation sounds good... but how's the game?
Let the rage begin...
Much as it's probably not been highly anticipated by most people, I've been looking forward to Anno 1404 a fair bit. Good to hear it holds up well.
I'm just shocked to see Transformers at 2 myself. Still happy that Layton's in there, though!
Father Christmas isn't real? Spoiler warning, guys! :(
Actually, this price isn't as bad as I feared. I mean, we're paying £20 more than the US for the base version of the game by itself, so £30 more than the US for the Prestige Edition isn't as big a markup as I feared.
Despite the price being absolutely effing ridiculous, obviously.
And yet I wonder whether it'll be enough to drag me away from Team Fortress 2. I'm actually kinda pleased this is "dumbed down," though; it seems like it'll be much easier to just have FUN with it that way.
This game looks *gorgeous*.
Actually, I kinda take that back. I'd *love* to see a content pack for WoW inspired by HR Giger, with level designs by MC Escher.
Oh, Raynor. Is there anything he can't do? Should be worth a look just for his backstory.
