Cagey, but a few interesting implications.
Glad to hear about the content updates. Obviously Korea's going to get the updates sooner, but the fact that they plan to follow here shortly after pleases me.
Hurm. That "festival feel" appeals to me. I do like my games to have a "feel" to them - it helps string everything together and make it all feel cohesive.
Heh. I'm not entirely surprised, being that it's a BioWare game. MMO or not, it's still got a big focus on story and NPCs.
Wow. That's... a well thought out universe.
I suppose it's not entirely surprising as it's not exactly a brand new IP, but still. That's a lot of detail.
Man. Microsoft is pushing hard, isn't it?
The movie's slated to be set between Warcraft 3 and WoW, right? I'd love to see the fall of Arthas in cinematic form, though this would presumably only have the Lich King. Not convinced that I could believe Wenham as the Lich King off the bat, but I reckon he could do the fall quite well.
Hmm. I guess I'm... happy about the possible casting, but only if we see the young prince, too. I don't think Wenham would be convincing as the Lich King without seeing his fall from grace first...
I'm not sure what it is, but the WAR events always manage to get me excited about the game again.
Tempting, if I had time. Sadly, I don't. I wil pick up LotRO again eventually, though...
Disappointing. Seems like it might be worth picking up the first for awhile, though.
This looks gooood. I want it so.
I love these things. All the important news, with a truckload of humour. And cynicism.
Someone who uses a Warcraft character's name as a handle is hard to take seriously when it comes to an argument about Warcraft lore.
That said, I actually agree. There's always excitement about new MMOs. A chunk of people always move away from WoW. At least half of them move back fairly shortly after, and the new MMO fades out of the public eye.
I doubt we'll ever see an MMO actually kill WoW, just because it shouldn't be treated akin to other MMOs. Its playerbase is...
So there were no voices in there at all before this? Or just no English voices?
Diabolically bad, then? Sounds flaming awful. ? We must've really done something to piss Hell off if this is their idea of vengeance.
Thank you, thank you. I'm here all week.
I'm interested as to how this plays out, as I can't imagine playing a realistic flightsim without an actual flightstick. Or, hell, even a joystick, but not an analogue stick on a controller.
Sounds like it doesn't matter quite so much here, though.
Vaguely disappointing, but I wasn't expecting this to be stunning out of the box. I imagine it'll be a lot more worthwhile a month or two after launch, though.
See, I'm still not convinced that "millions" of weapons are going to feel different. I have no doubt that a lot of them will, but I would imagine after four or five hours you'll be seeing a lot of similar weapons with tiny differences. I eagerly await being proven wrong by the full version.
Sounds like they've been really imaginative, particularly with regards to the emotes. I'm not convinced by an XP penalty for dying - those have always felt out of place, although I concede that there needs to be a harsher penalty than a little bit of in-game cash - but still, this sounds amazing.
Niiice. I dig the armour customisation. Presumably hobo-clownery will be avoidable, then, but I might go out of my way to do it on my char :)
