High expectations, but he may not be far off considering the quality of the last one.
More evolution. Now just to wait and see how much weeping there is over these changes.
I never got on with Star Ocean. The setting gives such fantastic possibilities, but never actually fulfils them. The eternal problem with space games, to some extent, but Star Ocean is just so bleedin' generic it makes it feel much worse.
I'll refrain from the obvious joke about cruel and unusual punishment.
I do like that 18-rated games are banned, though. Surely Wii Music is more of an incitement to murder than GTA4?
As usual, Jeff makes some good points, particularly regarding betas. Heartening to know that Champions was delayed due to the beta response - and that was actually quite enjoyable.
This is set to Enrage the Internets, isn't it? Fight Night's *boring* with face button controls, though. It's all about the analogue sticks and it always was. I don't get why people care.
Doesn't that have a few "g"s in it? :) WAAAGH! I thought, with exclamation mark.
...I'll get my coat.
I think Land of the Dead is going to revitalise WAR a bit. At least, I hope it does. It's got some very cool ideas in there, although I'm still waiting for other MMOs to pick up things like Public Quests.
Arcade or Realistic difficulty for me, I think...
Still haven't gotten around to checking the 360 demo. Might give the PC version a shot, as I loved the first game.
I find it hard to believe Microsoft wouldn't have looked into this when they were prototyping it. Storm in a teacup, I reckon.
It tends to vary from area to area in the game. Some are gorgeous, others are horrendous - and it's not the art style. It's odd.
These screenshots look good, though.
Game looks interesting. And the dude's nice :)
This had damn well be better than the first one. Such a good concept, such a terrible game.
And why do I think this is going to be the only comment that's not focused on the girl?
Doug's usually a pretty good interview subject. Some interesting stuff in there.
Hey, it's happening. FF1&2 hit GBA, 3 and 4 have been remade for DS, 6 is supposedly getting a DS remake, 7 has been ported to PS3 and PSP... They're still getting the most from their old series, it seems.
Cannot wait.
Man, this looks fun. 360 Wipeout equivalent, then!
So many ways multiplayer can go. A hunter vs hunted mode, maybe. Or, yeah, races using the open-world of the city. Or co-op assassinations, or a race to a target, or...
Bit worrying they haven't really decided this late in development though.
Wow. That doesn't sound nearly as bad as expected.
