I'm preparing to be disappointed... again!!
I do hope I'm wrong though.
It'll be a huge showcase of BC titles running, with the odd new one like Halo Infinite.
It'll also be a huge disappointment too, especially after the massive hype going into it.
If the big 'all games only' show MS are planning tonight is half full of BC games being shown supposedly running on a SX, then there will be hell to pay!!
We want to see NEW games!!
The wife is from Taiwan, so I get the pleasure of going there quite regularly and I have to say it's one of the nicest countries I've been to, especially the people who have a very high standard of openness, honesty and mutual respect for each other.
Recommend anyone who is pondering a trip around SE Asia to pop in there, the countryside is spectacular and the food is amazing too!
"And the other competitive platforms aren't really that interested in having a full Xbox experience on their hardware,"
This sort of double talk guff is exactly why I have zero interest in what this plonker says anymore.
So it's Nintendo & Sony's fault that we can't all have a full Xbox Experience on their hardware.
No sh1t, why on earth would they want to give any help to your failing brand?
Do it for the gamers he s...
‘most diverse collection of old first-party games’
There, fixed it for them.
Haha, Dark Souls combat is great, has some real heft and connection.
This felt like I was waving a feather duster about whilst submerged in treacle, it was awful!!
Give me Dark Souls, Sekiro, Bloodborne anyday, don't play Hellbalde for the combat anyway.
I put the combat on easy after the first few rounds, I found it awful and unresponsive.
Story was quite interesting though and the game had some great effects and ideas in it so I finished it and felt like I enjoyed rather then a slog.
Don't think I'll ever play it again though.
It'll be interesting to see the differences via 'smart delivery' on what a game running on an One X, a series S (lockhart) and a series X.
I reckon they binned the One X and not the One S because the actual gameplay difference between One X and Lockhart will be pretty minimal. Maybe load times due to SSD but that's probably going to be it.
Blah, blah, blah.
Talk is cheap, stop hyping and start showing.
The more he says the less impressed I think we will be.
Push the brand, push the brand!!!
July showcase had better be incredible, with actual Xbox SX being played on stage in real time by a person with a controller, no more sizzle rolls or 'target renders'.
July showcase will be make or break, hence the Phil & co hype train of interviews at the moment.
Seriously though, do they think we still need to hear this hot air over and over?
The phrase you're looking for is
"Sh1t eating grin".
Glad to see the noisy minority failed in the goal to derail TLOUS2, its an epic game!!
Quick way to brush all that Kinect rubbish under the carpet and forget all about it!!
No Kinect Star Wars, ever, ever again.
He's at it again, poor old Philled Sphincter, farting his hot air out of his MS marketing mouth-end.
Desperate much, Phil?
Well that's the death knell for Google Stadia then. Well done MS!
"If you are a lover of AAA video games, you might have noticed that very similar titles have been released in recent times and quite lacking in creativity."
I do hope he's not talking about Halo MCC, Halo 5, Forza Horizon 4, Forza 7, Gears 4, Gears 5??
Because you can expect Halo Infinite, Forza 8, Forza Horizon 5 and most likely Gears 6 to be shown off for the new Series X in the July event. Similar titles lacking in creativity, how dare ge...
Funny no one is mentioning the story isn't it?
Personally I'd like to see Master Chief go on a time traveling escapade where he influences all the outcomes of the previous games in the series, revisiting lots of old areas reimagined where we could see memorable Halo chapters from another angle, all the while playing from a different perspective.
That would be good!
I played this 13 years ago!
